Very clean looking. But just seems weird that the manufacturer logo is so small. I guess since it's orange they assume that's all the branding it needs.

Some of the descriptions match the wordings of the new SX line. If you'll notice, the XC line photos aren't actually present. XC-W photos are in their place.

From the site: "If maximum power is required, there is no other way but the 450 XC-F. The compact SOHC (single overhead camshaft) engine that delivers explosive but controllable power shares 95% of the parts with the bike of Ryan Dungey winning the AMA Supercross championship 2015."

I have some friends who live in Austria. Should we start importing the airfork over here ASAP?! (I'm half joking...)

As a 250 2 stroke guy I'm upset the 2016 didn't get the updates. I understand losing the orange frame, my 2015 looks thrashed after 27 hours, frame chips are easily visible on the orange.

I was ready to put a down payment on a '16 250sx....looks like I'll have to wait another year. Kind of disappointed we do not get the air forks in the US

yes I am very interested in it too, but back to your comment, did you mean you will buy a KTM in 2016 or the KTM changes in 2016 have meant you will go elsewhere?

Am I reading that right? 221lbs for the 450sxf? Isn't that lighter than all the '15 250fs and it has electric start

The 16 450 is 6 lbs lighter than the 15.5 fe? Huh?

4 speed instead of a 5 speed like the 15.5 FE. Find it hard to believe it is that much lighter than the FE though.
As of the KTM Webpage the US Version still does have a 5 speed transmission.

Doesn't make any sense to me why they didn't changed the SX250.
But who knows maybe there is something in the queue to be released soon.

Don't now anything but I guess there is something coming.

take another look...... that pic is of an xcf"W" not the, not the XCF. my guess is that the XCF will look just like the SXFs but with a clear tank, kickstand, and an 18" rear wheel.

Lithium battery technology is many times better than the freak 2013 battery failure on Dungeys bike.
At least Yamaha thinks outside the japanese box, their new 250 off road closed competition bike has e start.
I remenber the same concerns of FI, what happens if it fails
in the middle of know where. Technology moves on. That almost appilies except for harley.

The front fender on the 250sx isnt great but it looks 100% better than the "stick straight out" fender on the others. Man, KTM has never made a good looking front fender. Their suspension has gotten somewhat better, why not fix the damn fender? I wonder if I could get a '15 KXF fender in orange?

No.
KTM 2016 250f weights empty 99,9kg and that is same as Yamaha 2015 250f.
KTM 450 weights couple kg more.
