Rossi's extra hard rear tire was the ticket, MotoGP way more entertaining to watch over motocross & supercross on
TV at least IMO.

I enjoy watching Honda's of all kinds lose... one reason, their stance on 2 strokes.

The last laps were awesome! 10x more exciting than any supercross or MXGP race this season.

Seriously?

I llike Moto2 and Moto3 but MotoGP is not that interesting with Honda (actually Márquez) vs Yamaha again. And I also like to see GP2 over F1.

Hey, what do you think Rossi's chances are of beating G.A.'s win record?
(apologies, I don't get to follow Moto GP as much as I should.)

Was a fantastic race! And that coming from a Marquez fan from the beginning, this should help the series go down to the wire, and Rossi being the guy that Marquez will be chasing in the points makes it that much better!

Marquez knew if he fell behind at all it was over and he was fighting to keep it competitive. Should have gave Rossi a bit more room . . . but that would have been like settling for second, something Marquez never seems to do!

Good stuff!!!

I am new to motogp... Whats with the riders taking their foot off the peg and hangn it out while entering a corner? Is it just an on-road version of leg swag?

It's like an outrigger for stability while under heavy braking

I road raced for years and can safely say I did the same thing but it came from riding motocross (and these guys do ride mx and flat track for training) but I cannot see it ever doing a dam thing. Just don't think you could save it by planting a foot.

Although I have stood a bike back up off my knee at speed when leaned over and I lost traction on the front. The first time I did it I spooked myself and then ran off the track lol.

Ago usually ran two classes, 500 and the old 350. Ran up 122 wins. Be almost impossible with the way things ate run now.

Today was classic Rossi, smart, skilled and patient.

Rossi. Casey was the first rider to add it to his braking. Then it spread like hiv.

That was a great race. Masterclass performance crawling back that 4 second gap. To bad 93 went down but Marc needed to yield the racing line when he didn't have track position or that was bound to end badly for him. It did. Front tire vs Rear tire collision, Rear tire most always wins.

Agostini, for as much as an awesome champ he was, rode on a 3 cylinder Mv Agusta five times the power of the single cylinder Norton he was racing against, just sayin

he was and incredible rider anyway, who remained safe and healty in an age when his fellow riders dropped like flies

You are right on that but he also ran against the Hondas which were pretty impressive too. I saw him ride a TZ 700 at Daytona in '74. He crushed it.

you don't became a million times world champion by chanche, obviously.

He was one of the greatest, and the first who made riders famous outside the track world.

He acted in a few movies, he appeared in tabloid, he dated actress and showgir, he was an international playboyl...he was the incarnation of "Dolce vita".
