That track looks killer. Kind of reminds me of the awesome dirt you see in Texas but they held a national for a few years at Freestone. Dry

Then youthstream decided to move the Irish MXGP to a horse track before taking it away completely.

I think you guys are looking at this wrong.

It is a WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP.

A true world championship seems to me like it should include a wide diversity of tracks; sand, loam, hard-pack, chop, etc..

I'm not sure why everyone is so upset that this track in Asia doesn't look like the ideal tracks in the US or Europe.

I thought the track in Mexico last year was a lot worse. That was a real beater track.

I haven't heard one rider bitch about this or last week's track yet it seems like 3/4s of everyone on Vital is weeping uncontrollably about them.

Are the yellow flowers Scotch Broom? If so, the pic could be the Willamette Valley in Oregon. There is plenty of terrain there for a track like this, yet none exist.

At least all the track personnel were prepared for the dust....or robbing the local 7 Eleven...

The Arco Di Trento track in Italy is in a ski resort. The one in Argentina I hear is also up in a beautiful resort. These boys go from the desert to the mountains and everything in between. I think that's whats going to make it such a roller-coaster for RV fans. Tomorrow he's going to clean up if he doesn't crash we can all see that, but the variation in ground from week to week is going to mean different guys are going to be more/less competitive each weekend.

Quite a few complained actually I think. That track definitely sucked in comparison. They just need to stop chasing the money and go where it needs to go.

Argentina looks much better though.

There were / are quite a few US fans that regarded ARCO Di Trento as a piece of crap. But, it has to be said, many want to label any GP track as that. If it's not tilled / rotavated a couple of feet deep, it seems to be not a worthwhile MX track to many.

When i was young the united States was my favourite country to do this Sport. All europeans showing up to this country where you can ride 12 months a year. The most of us from North Europe are happy if we can ride 8 Months a year on only a few places.

I think this and the fact that the sport is not very popular and supported in Europe is a reason for us to be happy if we can challenge the best US guys a little bit.

Post a reply to: finally something the euros and the US fans can agree on
