It looks to me like he find the groove.
Ofc only qualification tomorrow counts!
Anyway RV´s technique in the long rythm sections and doubles is way better than the europeans today wich ofc is something he got from racing supercross. He was flawless. Anyone agreed?
Pacing themself i just dont think Desalle thought he could hang with him today even do it was qualify.
Hope we get to see a good start tomorrow and AC in the mix there.

Something to watch for is his ability to easily generate air. Being a light rider helps too ... but RV has always had the ability to clear stuff that others struggle with ... particularly stuff where there is little run up. One example are some of those wide spaced rollers where he is able to double thru while the others may struggle to get over clean. And on the big launchers you can see him going fast and low while many of the others are almost going boner-air to clean them.
I think his biggest challenge will be the sand tracks. Hopefully they are sneaking in as much sand practice as possible.
Pit Row
Adam Wheeler & Paul Malin " not impressed" but when cairoli won the qualifier in Qatar they bragged like he was the crowned champ already.
Just a tidbit but RV lived in Florida in the heat and humidity for the last 7 years. Most GP guys dont.
