Terrible call. Pretty bull shit if you ask me. Osborne broke the gate off then stopped. He coulda rode off and been all good. Seems like the rules get made up as they go along.

Maybe they were trying to repair the gate and that's why the red flag took a little longer to throw than expected. It had to be restarted, that wasn't fair for Osborne, period.

Was a little late to throw the flag but just think of how boring it would of got had they not. Webb n bisceglia had a nice little lead and I imagine it would've gotten quite boring after that. Perfect time for a restart. Even tho it messed up stewart I feel the action in the second run was way better. And Ozzy proved it wasn't a waist so good on him.

yeah it suck it took six laps, but part of me is with jeff alessi on this one (that sounds weird to me saying that) but I am stoked I got to see 6 more laps of great 250 racing.

This does highlight how stupid the instant black flag on reed was though IMO.

Yep. Black flag for a subjective call involving mindreading: 30 seconds. Red flag for a malfunctioning gate, completely objective and in the rule book, five laps. Makes no sense...

The officials knew the gate was broken. They chose to let them continue to race while they fixed it. I really think it is time to bring in a new sanctioning body. The AMA/FIM are terrible and laughing stock at best. Gallagher is dumbass, Kevin Crowther is a spineless windbag. Go the hell home and find a new job. This series/sport needs a more professional and organized approach. While I am on this train. Ralph, your a nice guy. But shut the hell up snd let Emig actually talk and explain things.

He actually raced his way up to 16th when they red flagged it, so he had done just as many laps as everyone else. It took longer than it should have but it was only fair to restart it.

They were wrong not to restart that 250 race at Thunder Valley. Gallagher made absolutely the correct decision last night but you're saying he has his head in his ass? The Reed incident happened right infront of him, it was absolutely blatant. Whereas it would have been virtually impossible to spot malfunctioning gate first time, therefore it had to be verified. As was the case with the Reed incident, people are misguided in their criticism of the officials.

The AMA has always been a joke when it comes to rules for years. Think about all the mistakes they have made. RC and "Fuel Gate" was a classic, the list goes on & on, and it affects the riders, the teams. the fans, the sponsors, the races and the championships. They are complete idiots. The sport needs to be more professional in my opinion.

I feel your vagina is a little more sore than others. Blatant? Yes. Dumb? Probably. Malicious? No. If chad wanted to really clean Trey out he could have killed him in that sweeper. Perfect scenario and turn to do it in. The past is the past though and Gallagher still fucking sucks. Having people back your lies is a sad thing because you made a decison based on your emotions. With the gate gate(boom) they should have red flagged it the first lap being they knew instantly it malfunctioned. Of course that decison lasted 6 laps and not 35 second. I wonder of Kevin Crowthers will intervene and say he supports johns terrible and ignorant out of like critical thinking skills.

In real time it was 5 minutes and some change. .................... It probably took about a minute to become aware of the problem. Then a minute to actually study the replay so they aren't accused of that and then a couple minutes to inspect the gate.

You guys act like everyone was already back at the haulers getting their post race bj and the AMA ordered everyone back to the track.
