With that said as long as Mike and Jeff keep dad around they're part of the problem and enabling these problems to happen.

If you do me wrong twice, you no longer get the benefit of the doubt.
Especially when you've just told me you needed the machines more than my friend did for his kids.
He showed you a wheel, stop being a puss and shut the door on him...! I'm not saying it's right but.... There's way worse going on, then laundro-crap mat gear bangs....

Last night was one of the best times I've seen him ride supercross. Last year at I believe Indy he was also going really good. I'm exited to see if he can believe in himself enough now to know that if he wants to put it out there on the track he's fully capable of top 5s on a really good night and top 10s on a consistent basis. Watching the whoops it looked like everyone was hitting them about the same way choosing there lines based on the square edges and it got a few people but mike almost seemed like that was where he was confident and really got through them fast. That's a big deal in him, his ohlins stuff looked pretty dam good last night.
Mike is a good rider and doesnt deserve all this critism and shit storm everytime.
Is it just me or is there some folks waiting for every time the name Alessi is spoken to revert back to second grade slander and classless behavior everytime?
I dropped a few barbs in the past thinking I was funny and now I realize I was an ass.
Hope nothing but the best for the Alessis Jeff MikeTony and all.

This is true but they have made their bed with past actions and that's what happens. It would be a different thing if only one incident happened ever involving the Alessi name but there have been so many.

Bottom line is Mike rode really good Saturday and not many expected it.

I've been coming here for years but decided to post. I've been going to a Supercross every year for the last 15 years (mostly St. Louis but been to Dallas, Vegas and Minnesota the year Hill won). I've gotta say every time we've seen Mike he has said hi, took a picture with us and always took time to talk. I don't know the Alessi's but I know for a fact Mike is the only rider to take time to show his appreciation for our support every time we have seen him.

Also Josh's Grant's old mechanic with Honda can chug beers. Cool

I think the Alessi's are awesome, and always give us somethign to talk about.

Put yourself in their position...Jeff and Mike, and try to imagine what your life, or personality might be like if you never went to school. Not that everything we learned was great, but we know you get beat up if you cut in line.

My granddaughter plays with a girl who is home schooled. Shes an awesome kid, but somethign is off. Her parents know it, too, and next year shes going back to public school.

Fast forward 20 years, and now we expect this sheltered kid to go out in the real world an understand the social part of life they've never experienced?

What the hell kind of typing is this? Do they teach this bullshit in school or is this just you being a dumbass? Totally agree with your post, though.

Maybe it was a really powerful laser by Villopoto that did it? Burned through one of the bolts... We know he was there haha

An Alessi hater is one of the most F'd up warped losers involved in the sport.

I thought Mike looked very comfortable and confident out there. I didn't see any look backs and he appeared to be trying to go forward. I didn't see or hear of any altercations with him. It was a hell of a ride and he could be in the top 10 if he can keep it together. I hope he does.

Nice post internet noob.... Only in the last half decade have all the English natzis decided that every fuckn post on the net should be like a paper turned in for a grade... In the early days of the net you put in a dot dot dot because it felt fuckn awesome that for the first time in your life some dickhead wasn't going to grade what u just wrote...

Imo he is the most under rated guy out there I feel. Dude has shown he has the speed to run top five but for some reason it does not always show or he fades back. I always feel he could do better than what he does like some guys just can't really do it but I feel he could
I would give the most under rated honors to Josh Hansen, who was doing good for most of the night.

I like MA800 as a rider and just a person from what I have seen over the years.

Those great starts didn't help his race craft any. He seems to always get passed in the same manner and I feel like a good coach could possibly direct him to hang on to a few more positions.

Not that I'm any kind of MX coach but what I see is: He always squares up, and doesn't seem to use every last inch of the track the way the very top guys do. The top guys are getting on the gas when they are still very leaned over and that stays with them right off the lips of the jumps. The slower Pros seem to square up and try to hit the jumps nice and straight, like I try and do! It's safer, but it's not faster obviously. I have to imagine that some of it is bike set up as well to have a bike that can manage that really well. When Kroc is trying to dive to your inside your going to have to get on the gas very early, use every bit of the track, and still do all the obstacles.

I thought he did okay but I only saw what was on TV. He grabbed the holeshot and kept looking behind him. Fix that problem and he would finish a couple positions higher, I think.

I'm just saying, what is with all the damn periods? I'm not harping poor grammar or anything- I just don't understand their purpose. What purpose do they serve over one, or three? I'm 23, so it's not as if this is all new to me. Just trying to help him out a tad. Maybe he was high or something?

I'll be the first to admit I really don't like the Alessi circus. But I'll give credit where credit is due for his solid ride last night. I had him pegged for barely qualifying...

What a weird thing to have happen to the rear brake...had to play with his mind a bit.
Alessi has been training with Bryan McDonald.

I have a ton of respect for Mike. He remains relevant in mx/sx through all the shit he has been through. The guy has had a ton of lows in his career, much of it brought on by himself and his family, yet he perseveres and continues to improve in SX. Its obvious the guy absolutely loves riding his dirtbike. His career probably hasn't turned out how he would of preferred, but you know what, he's still out there pulling holeshots and riding in the top ten at Anaheim. Not to fucking bad if you ask me.

As of right now he is the best in the world at holeshoting. He has improved like heck in the whoops, he rode a good safe race. Shit if it was RV y'all haters would have done his wash and if I catch anyone messing with Tony's wash it's on, haha.
1/5/2015 4:38pm
I give Mike credit. He jumped up to the 450f class at an early age and didn't hide in the 250f class looking to improve his results. He stayed with SX even though it wasn't his strong point. He's been injured enough on outdoor tracks that would make other rider's pick up an SX only ride for the remainder of their pro careers. He has the speed for top 5 finishes and that's not bad considering he's riding on a non-factory supported bike.

Get real, it's just a post, dude. It's not worthy of a disrespectful insulting post. I'm glad Mike had a good race. I hope he stays healthy the full series, with no drama.
