It was 100% dirty. Bowers admitted it on the pulpcast BUT he said Osborne almost did it to him so an eye for an eye.

I was alright with the pass but his interview after was pretty douche esque IMO. Show up and podium and people will take you seriously. You don't have to try pulling an intimidation technique of "if I have to do it i will". Would like to see him try pulling something like that with Barcia and Anderson in the pack.
You are dumb.

Sorry, I thought we were just stating things that are totally irrelevant and making completely worthless posts.

Right on.
I wonder how many of you guys will say "there was nothing wrong with the move" if it was your thumb that got broken during that move.
And the quote of Bowers you all love so much : "I am not here to finish 2nd" is also lame. So why did he finish 3rd ? Did he came to finish 3rd ?
He's a dbach....

It wasn't a T bone, it was an aggressive pass and Osborne gassed it or clutched it making it look worse.

The actual contact is pretty minimal.

Please, he squared up the corner and hit him, it was far from a clean pass. Zach didn't turn down on him or anything. This place fucking imploded when Mike lost control of his brakes and took out Tickle.

Even Emig said it was overly aggressive for the start of a heat race.
Please. Go back and watch the vid. They came together, but there was no hit. Osborne stood it up and took himself out on the tuff block.

Bowers isn't afraid of either of those guys. In fact talking to him as often as I've had, I guarantee their isn't a single guy in the pits he is afraid of.

That John Galagher needs to get over himself. Running over to get in Bowers face right after the heat. He should be a bit more professional and watch the replay a few times before he goes all Euro soccer player on Tyler.

If I was Mitch Id be like WTF?

Bowers obviously changed his tune a little between the incident and the main event.
That's rubbing not dirty riding. Galagher needs to review video before knee jerk reactions.

Need great officiating - NOT KNEE JERK REACTIONS

Does Pro Circuit or any of Bowers other sponsors pay bonuses for Heat race wins?

I did not see anything wrong with it, there was not that much contact at all, just some bad timing for Osbourne getting off the clutch and on the Gas as he got the nudge.

Great effort from Osbourne to rebound in the main.

Bowers has always been my favorite rider. Welcome to the Band Wagon!
For the record, I had him on my fantasy team before the race- lol

It was unnecessary for a heat race period. Main event or lcq I could see that as rubbing is racing. Osborne was faster, he should have settled into second and made it to the main without any controversy. His comment was pretty lame too, I don't think anyone is not taking him serious since Vegas last year.

I liked the move, it just sucks he broke Zach's thumb in the process.

How was it unnecessary, you want him to sit on Osbornes rear fender for the race and follow him around like a lost puppy dungey style. Gate pick is huge going into the main.
Saying what was said and what he said to the fim judge was so lame, he should have stuck to not answering the question and blabbing on and on about his sponsors like a robot.

Ding, ding....we have a winner!

Knowing how PC likes to structure their rider contracts with heavy incentive payments rather than set salary I am going to have to say that a heat race win at A-1 might just have a little bump involved.....both on the track and in the bank account.

I'm betting Mitch had no issues with that, I sure didn't.

If you've ever been around Arenacross much, then you know the pass that Tyler put on Zach was a normal, run of the mill pass that is done every weekend of the AX season...its how its done. If we want the "Road to Supercross" to go by way of Arenacross (I think its great for both Supercross AND Arenacross), and it is to be considered a "training ground" for the riders, then I would say that Tyler brought what he learned in AX to SX and executed it perfectly. Not sure what the big deal is.

At first glance I thought it was a bit much but after seeing the replay that was a nothing bump and Zach just dumped the clutch at the wrong moment. I loved the interview as well, especially when asked what Gallagher had to say "well clearly he's not happy" LOL.
i agree. By the way, how much diving do you do in Canada?

I'm glad there wasn't vitalmx in the early 90's so we would have to read endless threads of about rough riding. Half the people here would not have been Bradshaw fans.

Dude has been putting his sweat and blood into trying to win one of these things for years - I don't blame him for wanting to get a little aggro and set the precedent for the rest of the season.

I don't get it - everyone rants on at RD5 for being a wimp and not making a pass (ahem 450 main and waiting for 6 laps behind Shorty...) yet Bowers gets shit on for making a clean move which ended up looking dramatic through ZO's mistake.

Osbourn knows whats up - he's raced for long enough to know what happens when you leave the door open. Podium shot shows no hard feelings and if the two guys involved don't seem that fussed neither should anyone else.

If we could have saw what happened before the finish line it might explain some things.....but it appears that none of us have, which is hard to believe since it was the race for the lead???

..........Tyler looked locked in like he is absolutely dead serious about this. .....like a saftey delivering a hit across the middle in the start of a playoff game. There are probably some rookies who should take some notes on how you earn a paycheck by taking your job serious.

I like bowers aggression. Funny part is he's a pretty big dude, so even if he does piss people off, most of the midgets in that class aren't gonna go confront him in the pits!Laughing

Not sure how ZO broke his thumb in this incident with TB. Watch the second view of the incident & Zach never even takes his hands off the grips grabbing the clutch & picking his bike up when video cuts away. Now Tyler hits Zack on his Right side & it's Zacks Left hand/thumb taped up ? Hope he's good for next week.

For all of you saying that Zach having no problem with the pass, this is from Open Mic this week:

"Talk about that crash in the heat. You and Bowers were going back and forth a little bit.

I felt like the other two were pretty clean. The other one maybe I got in his boot buckles a little bit but his was pretty blatant. We talked it out on the podium and he knew it was across the line. It is what it is, and now I’m carrying an injury that I have to deal with. It’s unfortunate. I shouldn’t have left the door open. I thought I had it closed as tight as I could, but obviously I left a little too much room."
