So much butthurtedness going on about something that didn't happen. Unreal.

I love the "it must be luck" or "He's stupid" posts. The kid nuts that jump multiple times and it's still just dumb luck? How do you guys think the supercross racers hit 99% of every combination on the first lap of practice? Holy shit, give credit where credit is due.

About the distance, Trigger Gumm told me a bone stock 450 will do 200' easy off his ramp (it's something I want to do for some stupid reason). So, this kid hits a ramp, tapped in 5th, with a solid pre-load bump/lift...yeah, it's over 200' I bet.

everyone is crying about the slower riders, maybe it is their fault. why aren't they jumping anything. they should think about the riders that they put at risk because they arent doing the jumps. maybe they should head to the hills and practice some jumping before they get out on a motocross track....

there are always 2 sides of a story. im an adult(32), im a local "B" rider and have came close to jumping on people from catching them, or they pull onto the track, and on the straights they are on the gas and then literally lock up the brakes at the bottom of the jump. my fault or their fault depends on the side you are on...... I make sure to ride in the faster practices, and you always get the riders that head out to the track because they see big bikes on the track.

Rookies jump was awesome!!! flat out

In this video, he basically acknowledges the risky nature of doing it while slower riders were in front of him. Yet people on here still deny this aspect. I don't think they watched this video.

"Only thing that worried me was the people in front of me. That was a little sketchy cuz, I mean, I don't have much control when I'm going as fast as I was. I'm glad no one got hurt and I didn't get hurt."

Also, why is his hand off the bars in this video ?????

Well had no control. Respect for doing a badass jump. But if you are worried and glad no one got hurt , do the jump next time without anyone on the track and everything would be fine. Anyway the jump was insane haha!

I dont think they are upset about the jump and actually how sick it is ! Wich i personaly believe it is. But just when to do the jump. The second video was a close call , he went a bit sideways after the landing and by the speed he had nothing else to do but to double the next session, and the slower rider was not to far away from him. But anyway that kid got some HUGE balls.
I agree .how about why is this kid riding the VET track? shouldn't he be riding the tracks with ints/pros

LOL A faster rider coming up from behind should always be aware of the guy in front of him. So IMO the scenario described would be the faster riders fault. Rarely have I been the one being passed at an open ride day or in my motos so I feel my opinion is pretty valid on this one. In an open ride with lesser skilled riders I won't do a jump unless there is enough gap to react or I'm clear across the other side of the track. Large jumps I will just roll with them because they could be anywhere by the time you fall from the sky. Personally I think anyone doing the jump Rookie did is a fool. Especially with other riders in the area. WTF? I wouldn't want to be there when it all goes wrong which is one tiny mistake away.

Disclaimer: I live in Wisconsin so when I say that I've rarely been the one getting passed, in no way am I bragging nor do I think I'm "the shit".

Same here, definitely not the shit at all, but there's plenty of times where I'm on the track with guys slower than me who aren't doing all of the jumps, or are doing them unpredictably. Not worth it for me to go sailing by them and running the risk of landing on them. Like you said, that's on me, not them.

The jump at Jolly Rogers in NH was called the intimidator. Many people hit that jump. That jump was sketchy cause the takeoff was huge and right out of a turn making the landing blind. The landing was steep and not forgiving.. I recently heard someone may have purchased that facility. There are some videos on you tube.
The intimidator was a second gear half throttle set bounce that half the B class jumped. This jump is a completely different story. Jolly Rogers has opened again and was holding races at the end of the year.

Part of me say's Holy shit that's cool.

the other parts of my brain say Holy shit someone or multiple people could die.

the imaginary track owner in me say's tear that shit down , slow it down or what ever.
