Right now they are not coming back and I don't care what the rules say, the MFG's don't want to make them.
The KTM 250 2 stroke helped win the MX2 class in Canada this year.

Just sayin'...

Most fast amatuers have 2-strokes to practice on these days. Save the 4-sucks (I mean strokes) to race on. If you can become good on a 2-stroke, you are really good on a 4-suck. Then the mfg's and teams give you race bikes, for free! But, if you were to buy a bike, be smart and get a 2. Funner, lighter, doesn't sound like shit, smells good, less expensive, faster, cooler, funner, doesn't sound like shit, faster, less expensive, better etc. Of course if you are a lazy old shit that doesn't know how to ride, get that big expensive 4-suck so you 'can make the big jumps' and think your good. Don't think your fooling anyone that has experience though, they know you really suck.

Trading mine for a 450 on Sunday. I'm one year away from the 25+ class, time to get serious. I'm on a 6-pack a day and absolutely no training regimine.

Are you really trading your 2 stroke in? I thought you were liking it!

On another note, I think Chevy needs to bring back the two door tahoes.

I remember when 2 manufacturers were trying to kill the 500 class.

They ,along with a certain mag that is just a tool of the manufacturers, told us all that 500 were to powerful and hard to start..

Yamaha 125, 250, Kawasaki kx85, Suzuki rm85, KTM 60.85.105,125,150,200,250,300, Gas Gas 50, 125,200, 250, 280,300 Sherco 125, 250, 300
Beta 125, 250, 300, Husqvarna 125, 250, 300 and many other 2 strokes are being built and sold currently. Nice to have a free market and not a narrow AMA and FIM controlled market.
KTM 2 stroke sales are 42% of all their USA sales. Suzuki and Yamaha now sell more bikes than honda 4 stroke only corporation.
I love my 2 stroke Husqvarna chain saw.

I love it man, just not fitting my needs. That is a great MX bike but I'm not really riding MX much anymore. Too busy and too many kids/guys taking that shit way too serious. Lately I'm all about hitting the dunes or trails maybe having a beer or two, so I need a set and forget bike to just have a good time on. I'll miss the CR and someday I'll get another 250 but for now I wanna be "lazy".

Witnessing a capable rider on a 2 stroke is definitely a thing of beauty. On the other hand, there is no worse sound, smell and visual than a spode on an ill-tuned 2 stroke with 3 year old muffler packing billowing smoke and drooling sludge. Unfortunately, I see more of the latter.

Those numbers make no sense. What are you showing us? For instance, the bottom category, is that in NA or worldwide? So KTM, BMW, Ducati and Piaggio only produced 1481 units in CY13 total?
