TM 125 or RM 125? The RM is a lean looking machine!

MX125 or YZ125 B and/or the early spring released YZ125C? Speaking of looking lean, the YZ C is on point!

I have most of this bike in the rusted form in a couple of boxes. Someday I'll restore it when I have the proper shop and not the dirty shed I work out of now.

Haha, I give you old guys a hard time mainly out of jealousy. I've always felt like I was born in the "wrong" generation. I'm not into video games, hip-hop, latest greatest cell phones, prius (no offense prius guys), or any of the other "typical" things of my generation. I hear the stories of that time frame my dad tells me and they sound like such an awesome time to be a young guy.

In 1975 I was riding a 1974 Honda 125 Elsinore...and getting beaten by Suzukis. I'm never going to admit that it possibly had more to do with the rider on the Honda and the riders on the Suzukis than the bikes themselves.

Didn't own a bike at all before 1975 (only owned several copies of MXA). in early 1975, I got a clapped-out AT1-C with a failed generator (stripped the lights and threw on a Petty front fender right away). Got tired of charging the battery before every ride, got a job that winter and bought a '76 CR125M that Spring.

Except for college, was never without a proper dirt bike since.

My '74 Husky Mag was my favorite bike ever...but I was getting my butt kicked by the Hondas royally. So, we turned Japanese. If you can't beat 'em...

1976, I got a 74 GT80 Yamaha that came out of a garage fire. Had been cleaned up, Kryloned and all the lights taken off so it was almost like the shiny new GTMX 80 my brother had just gotten. What a pile of crap but I rode the wheels off that thing for years and never even put a new ring in it. Got a quarter for milk money and chocolate milk was only 8 cents at school. I had 17 cents to put gas in it every day after school. Pushed it home from the sand pit more than once!Laughing

If you weren't too serious, you could go race moto on the cheap with a MX250. If you were serious, just throw down double the money for the exotic semi works YZ. Need an option like this today!!!

If you lived anywhere other than the US, you got colors from the future.

Hey, I've got one of those RMs.

Does this mean I'm serious? Cool.

Well, yes it does!Laughing

You have to admit, that thing looks like it weighs nothing. Looks like it showed up to race, not just ride.

1975 I was on a 74 1/2 Mikkola replica Husky. Nice bike but it was an open machine with a 125 powerband. More like a light switch than a throttle.

Oh yeah. It sure does look ready. My buddy had a 74 TM back in the day and it seemed like a dinosaur compared to the RM. When in reality they shared a lot of parts.

I'm pretty sure there are some bicycles out there that are thicker in the middle. lol
