is it just me, or does that thing just not look "factory"? It doesn't have the same "wow" factor as you get when you see one of the factory Hondas, Suzuki's, or Kawi's. Even the plain-jane factory Yami's look better to me. Not quite sure why, i never thought that about Chad's bikes for some reason. With Bubba, i guess i was expecting something more impressive....

and that long arse Akropovic exhaust is just fugly!! i've always hated big obtrusive 4 stroke exhaust's like that. Is it impossible to make a short, compact exhaust and still meet the 94db limit?

wonder what Bubba had to invest to get that JSE logo on the shroud? Maybe it was part of his contract negotiations and he didn't pay...??

I think YOU should think about it. That's as race ready as the bikes Chad raced last year right down to the brake rotors.

I remember reading that Yamaha's policy is to have the bike looking as stock as possible (heck, they started the whole "production bike rule"), maybe L&M is adhering to those guidelines?

You really think they are gonna bring $100.000 bike to a press conference?

Steve Matthes:
When you check out the L&M Yamaha semi next time you’re at a race, you might notice “JSE” on the side of it. That stands for James Stewart Entertainment, and its owner and CEO is thinking global. I heard it from a pretty good source over there that James is thinking of kicking back this summer and going on a world tour.
It’s all about the brand of James Stewart and positioning it in a global way that reaches the most people. So look for James to race some AMA motocross, some GP motocross (perhaps an Austrian GP where Red Bull is located?) maybe a Chad Reed SX Down Under, some Last Man Standing—stuff like that. Rumor has it that James has bought into the L&M team and is looking to grow it with the current owners. Also, Oscar Wiederman and Paul DeLaurier will be co-mechanics for James, with Oscar—Reed’s career-long mechanic—holding the pit board. Weird, but it works.

How about James Stewart entertainment just showing up to race a full season.
Entertainment is not pulling out at the last minute.

WTF?

A guy just to hold the pitboard and write:

"+5"

"+10"

"+15"

"+20 Breathe"

"+35 You're the man"

"+40 Cha-ching"

"+45 Halfway"
