Anyone on here an MSR Support Rider? I have been trying to contact them for weeks now. I have two new sets of pants I bought for this season and both pairs fell apart at the back seam after one or two rides. Direct messaged them on twitter, got one or two responses, and now they stopped following me. Anyone else have a similar experience?

You're doing an outstanding job of representing their product!

I'd suggest checking with your local dealer as MSR is sold thru Tucker Rocky

I have had a fantastic experience with MSR, it's the exact opposite of what you've described.
MSR and Rekluse have some of the best customer service in my opinion with dealings with a bunch of different companies.

LOL..This is a great lesson for all. Gather support, when you have an issue go on to a public message board and bitch about it. This guy should have companies lining up at his door next year.

There's a rumor going around that Untamed Power is looking for riders.

It's up to you, but many moons ago when I had free gear, I learned quick: "If you like it, tell everyone...if you don't, tell us."

I would say twittering a gear failure, and then blasting it on a public forum is probably not the hot set-up for the future with your sponsors/support people.

Just an idea. YMMV.

OP is a perfect example of why company direct rider support programs for non pro riders are moronic... Let the shops give the discounts instead of giving every C rider 60% off so they can come on the internet and do this type of thing. Pathetic

Same here. Give them a call. I've had nothing but exceptional service from MSR for the past 5 years. I've also never had a problem with any of the gear.

If all else fails have your parts guy contact your Tucker rep, Tucker and MSR almost always warranty or take care of their customers.

I did not Blast them on twitter I DM them. I have been with them for a few years and what little issues came up they took care of. I love the gear and never had an issue until this season and while I am not a good rider, I do ride alot. But now I have no been able to get ahold of anyone over there. I thought they moved and maybe did not change or forward their phone #. Just seeing is anyone experienced this same issue.

Usually they give you a contact person or a rep for you to deal with directly.

I dealt with the TR rep and he handled everything for me. I never had to go to MSR with anything.

I would definitely go that route first before posting on a board about it.

I have been either an MSR or Answer Rider (same company) for almost 10 years. Usually it's a phone call or an email and they handle everything for me. Never had an issue with any products. And their customer service is great. Twitter and message boards is not how you should contact a "sponsor".

There are some changes going on at TR with merging with the MAG group. Hang in there bud.

Hows the OP blasting them? He just asked a question and said it fell apart. He didn't say"this shit sucks fuckem". Everyone talking about customer service, thats not the same as "rider support" from my experience it's usually "oh it fell apart to bad" lol.

I wouldn't use Twitter as my direct line of contact for any company. Do you have email or a phone contact?

You still don't get it, do you?

You're getting free gear. Lots of riders aren't getting shit. This is not the place to say your free gear fell apart. I'd have my local dealer give you a support phone number...call it, and get someone gear, or get yours replaced. I were you, and wanted any more free gear...I'd stfu.

Yah but I bet a lot of people under 25 see it the other way. I had to tell one of our new employees that he needed to set up his voice mail and answer it like an adult. He was dumbfounded and responded that he didn't want to. He didn't feel that he needed to talk to anyone when they could just text him.

Damn kid are you really that clueless, to bring a sponsor issue to A PUBLIC FORUM?

Ask your mom to slap you for acting stupid, and use your brain next time.
