USADA and WADA are a joke as far as I'm concerned. People test positive for the dumbest shit that has no bearing on anything. They train and work hard and get a positive test and labeled a cheater and they haven't really cheated anyone.

We had the US Olympics going on in 2012 and instead of testing olympic athletes, Travis Tygart had such a hard on for nailing Lance, that's where all his focus was. And for what? What good really came of that? Did Lance REALLY cheat? The entire peloton was doped to the gills. It was a level playing field. So everyone that doped WITH Lance gets off, but Lance gets a lifetime ban? How's that true justice? 6 people who did the exact same thing get nothing, but the 7th guy Lance gets nailed to the cross. Why is there 7 years of the TDF not have a winner now? Because everyone that raced from 99-05 has pissed positive at some point or another. They couldn't give the wins to anyone.

So yes, Tygart does like to witchunt the top names in any sport. He doesn't care about the sports. He cares about his own fame and becoming the Eliot Ness of anti-doping.

If JS7 was truly intending to cheat, adderal is a poor choice. This whole thing is just the beginning. USADA likes BIG names. Tygart and Navitsky are ruthless. They will stop at nothing.
"Everybodies doing it so its ok to do it" isn't a valid argument to cheat. Its just evidence of how lax previous standards have been.

I really hate it when people justify bad behavior by comparing it to other bad behavior and saying its ok. Thats a recipe for lowering standards.

I just graduated from a terminal degree program, I'd guess that between 30-40% of my graduating class has been diagnosed with an attention disorder. People were super open about the PEDs they were taking to study.
In my experience (both myself, and observing others) it can be easy to get prescriptions for Adderall and pain meds, but it's not as easy as walking in and faking a few symptoms. Could James get a script of Adderall without actually having ADHD pretty easily? Of course, but Doctor's are weary of over-prescribing in this day and age, so I would think his doctor would have to have to some medical evidence to warrant a continued supply of something like Adderall.

Lol, where does it stop? Armstrong was the best cyclist of all the cheaters, EVERYONE was doping when he was winning. Barry Bonds was killing HR's when EVERYONE was using HGH. I think there will be more names dropping out of this when it is all said and done.

I hope they can tell who has IVs between motos with the USADA testing. Thats where the real advantages are being made.

And the ACL thing was brought up by Matthes. Its not even approved in the US so should someone with that procedure done be allowed to compete in competition in a US series? Im not saying one way or another. Those are things that have to be thought about when rules are put into place.
That's why the banned list is changing ALL THE TIME! It's a moving target. There's always something new athletes are trying for that 5% gain. Adderall is a VERY popular PED in a ton of sports. I believe multiple people in all the big sports have tested positive for it and served suspensions. I think it's pretty clear that medical professionals unanimously agree that it's useful as a performance enhancer. It also has valid medical uses hence why they give out exceptions!

Quit worrying about your "heroes" and people that "helped grow the sport" and worry more about having a clean sport that isn't one day so crazy on PEDs that amateurs don't stand a chance to win without juicing when they move up. That's where it will go with these kids that are living in campers at MTF and their families betting everything on their kid if there isn't testing of a professional manner.

It's not that hard. I've known people that have done it. Dr's are more concerned about over prescribing pain pills than adderall, although adderall is definitely getting a lot of people talking the last few years with lots of athletes and students using it as a PED. Another thing to consider is he wouldn't need a large supply if he's only taking it on race day, which would make more sense. I'm sure that's one thing they'll look at in the appeal.

You can infer what you want.
If his racing suffered from "brain farts", I can't imagine how his daily life is. With someone with ADHD, I know the symptoms can be exhausting and extremely frustrating.

With all the media picking up the FIM decision there is no way the AMA can allow him to race. They will have to honor that decision and also suspend him or look bad for letting him ride. This could get out of control for Stewart quite quickly.

If he was taking it for ADHD then he screwed his career for not having a TUE. With so much on the line why would you not have a TUE unless you were actually cheating.

I just cant fathom how stupid this whole thing is. Stooooooopiddddddd Your a championship athlete, you don't make such dumb mistakes that could ruin your career. GET THE DAMN TUE.

If we are going to keep this whole thing 'fair', then all riders that take the test should be known - and their results should be made public. Pass or fail.

I don't care who was let off in the past. If this testing thing is going to be legit, then all testing must be random, and all testing results must be made public.

Otherwise, it is a joke and completely unfair. If Stewart receives a suspension, why did another rider only get a warning?

What other rider got a warning? names? Proof? Guyb has confirmed that no other riders failed and got a warning.


Who is this other rider that got off? Can you name him? No, because it didn't happen.


The testing is random, hell I was tested and I was never a top 10 rider. If you want the tests then I am sure they can be found but no one cares unless a rider fails and that doesn't happen that often.

I'm sorry to break this to you, but Dr's can be just as corrupt as the next guy, they're not above anything. I could go to a Dr's office RIGHT NOW and say that my back hurts, my foot, my shoulder, chronic pain whatever and BOOM, 120-240 pain pills. I could go and say my pee pee doesnt work, BOOM, viagra. I could say I dont have any energy and I'm never aroused or horny, BOOM, TRT. Name any ailment or condition you can think of and you could get a script for it, some doc's, you ask for it by name, no problem.

Look at all the pill mill raids in Florida, some people 4-8 different Dr's in a day for the same medication. I was redoing the floors at this office complex which had a "pain management" Dr as a tennant. Monday morning 8am, you should have seen the line of people, 12 deep for appts from 8-9am only scheduled every 10 min. Look up pain management and tell me what you find. You treat 60 people a day on the low avg of $200 per patient, thats $60,000 a week passin out pain meds. Thats life changing money and yes, its that easy after 12 years of med school to justify and say "I earned that"

Poor James. None of this seems like it was any sort of ped to his knowledge, just something he took and didn't think much of it. Honestly it sounds like they're overreacting and want to make sure riders know they're serious, but James is getting the short end of the stick.

sonnen just got popped for using a drug that iirc was used post testosterone replacement therapy to keep his fertility function up- he was trying to have a baby/start a family.

they popped him, he retired that week - sic- i love this sport but if i will choose my health and family above it.

They won't make you a better rider, but they will make you able to stay at your peak for longer, and recover faster so you can be at your peak again. Actually, some substances might make you a better rider, if they increase alertness and reaction time. Or in some sports, where precision is needed, relax or calm you.

As for James, I really hope this is just some glitch, something he has not been taking in order to increase performance. He was sick before Seattle, so fingers crossed it is because of that! Maybe he took some medication for his illness. Man does this suck if this is the end.....

What about the top guys in your sport? A 45 min A main takes focus and pin point accuracy, would this drug help? What if you found out that over the last 5 years Tebo, Maifield, Cavalleri, Drake or any of the sports most dominant were using adderral? Even though there's no testing in R/C, how would that be perceived? What about some of the new young guns coming up?
