True that. These guys will find a reason to bash anything on here. If you find something nice and post it on here, 20 guys will tell you its piece of shit and you're an idiot.

To each their own, I guess. I'm not saying it's not a really nice bike, just not overly enamored with it. Plus, from a personal standpoint, I'm a bit of a "build" whore. I love the process of piecing together bicycles, my truck, bikes, fishing gear, camping gear, all that kinda crap that drains bank accounts, haha. So getting a new bike with everything already on it isn't necessary a positive for me, but just on a personal level. Like I said, though, cool bike.

You'd really charge more than $1,000 to pull a motor from the frame and strip it down? The powder coating is pretty inexpensive. I got my frame powder coated for $125. That leave $875 in labor. And to tear the bike down took less than an hour when it was brand new. Reassembly wasn't all that tedious of a process either.

Less than an hour to tear it down and not all that tedious to reassemble? Holy shit bro, you mut be a super mechanic, what team do you work for, or should I say teams cuz clearly you could do all of Factory Honda, KTM, Suzuki and Kawi in a day with room to spare based on your timeline. Thats 7 bikes, 3 hours each, look at all the salary these teams are wasting when super Shane is here.

I will have the money here waiting for the new bikes to come out in two weeks. Some new gear and 6d to come. I have 10 for budget. If I could ride some laps at Chad's to get the suspension dialed first. I will take it. I want a Honda but the bike is nice. Cmon Chad I can ride really well and your track is right up my alley and 1 1/2 hours away. Ive been to Timmys. Lol

Yup. I'll bet there's a lot of guys here who could strip a brand new bike down to the frame in an hour. It's not hard. Everything is new. And things pretty much come off in assemblies. Front end? Take the top triple clamp off and slide it out and wheel it into a corner. Rear end? Once the shocks out and linkage disconnected the swingarm slides right out. The motor on my bike (250SX) wasn't a challenge to pull out of the frame either. I think you're overstating the complexity of stripping a brand new bike to the frame.

As for putting it back together. It really wasn't tedious. Did it take some time? Sure. It did. But everything was new. There were no assembly issues. A decent night in the garage and it was built from the frame to completion. It was a new bike, so there were no cleaning issues where I was scrubbing. It was greasing and assembling. Take a dirty bike, and you paint a different picture to get it all cleaned up.

I'm guessing if you were to ask around, you'd find many competent people who can get a bike stripped down in a short amount of time.

These aren't complicated machines. You're overstating the scope of the project.

I'm sure they will get plenty of offers. Nice bike and it's all ready to go. Some of us like it that way.

I would charge at least $1000 to do that.

It cost way more than $10k to make a bike like that. Someone will make a lower cash offer and get a sweet bike.
FYI, the add said it was anodized, not powder coated, big price difference

Thanks for signing up for vital to tell us about the other guy that signed up for vital to tell us about the guy that has a TWO TWO display bike for sale on eBay for way too much money.

By the way, I have a $2,000,000 inheritance, but I need $25,000 cash to claim it. If you send me a cashier's check for the down payment I will repay you at 4x rate when the transaction is complete.
