Dungey has to be the favorite, I will be pulling for Reed, Roczen, Canard and Tomac to get in there and make it interesting.

Being from New Zealand, I love a bit of Reed, and I have to agree that he will come out fighting, but crash hard somewhere along the line.
Would be awesome if he didn't though, it should be a good season thats for sure.

Sounds like Reed is expecting to race into form...

Nothing would please me more than seeing James Stewart pull another 24-0 out of his hat...but even a win would be amazing!

If not JS7...I'd love to see RD shut up the haters.

Reed.

He knew about RV's supposed issue before the Vegas broadcast, and he's pumped!

And I'm sure he's clean as far as juicing goes.

I could go with this^^^. Stew is a favorite for sure. Kroc will be fast. I would put Trey before Barcia though.

I suppose so, but he has been training off the bike for a while, and how long will it take him to get back up to speed again once the doctors give him the all clear and he starts to ride properly?
I can see him going hard early.
Not hatin' just my opinion...

I can already picture the press release.. "Due to technical difficulties and certain sponsor obligations, Mike Alessi along with Team MotoConcepts will not be attending the CMRC Pro Nationals in Canada but will be competing in the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship for the remainder of the 2014 season."

Im going with Canard. The kid is fast as hell and has only raced a few SX's so he isn't worn out like the others.

Having said that, if Stewart can tone it down like he did in Supercross, and avoid any bad luck, he could be very tough to beat.

I think Canard will beat KRoc and maybe Dungey.
I would love to see Reedy get another championship.

I love Kenny. I wonder how strong he'll be all season.

Likewise next year, I kinda wonder how the pressure of being the big guy at RCH and being expected to deliver time after time might affect him.

One of Roczens greatest attributes is the way manages to take most things in his stride though. Other than missing out on the 250 Outdoor championship last year to a guy who finally peaked after four years of attempting to win that class he has met all expectations and in some cases exceeded them, the 2014 Supercross series being one of them.

I honestly think he'll finish ahead of Dungey Outdoors, Stewart will be too erratic as usual, I don't think Barcia, Canard or Tomac will have the bike for the job and Tomac will be coming in injured anyway. Metcalfe and Reed will be strong but Reeds been off the bike for a while and is touch and go for Glen Helen... so my moneys on Roczen.

If Stewart can approach the outdoor series with the same measured attitude he had in Supercross for a while then you could be right. I just wonder if he can ride within his limits when everything is so frenetic around him.

"By default"? So by default Dungey has Stewart, Reed, Metcalfe, Barcia, Millsaps, and Canard covered all season long? Which of those guys was racing in 2012 when Dungey won the championship last time? This will not be the same story as 2012. In 2012, Dungey's biggest competition was Alessi.
