I had the pleasure of watching him race at his home track in Prince Albert at the end of August - he has been inspiration to Canadian riders for a long time.......I'm at a loss of words right now, my thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

Thanks to all that have had Blair and his family in your thoughts and prayers!! Im sure they all appreciate all the support you have given and we all know its a long road when he gets home but with Blair being as strong minded and positive he will overcome this and still remain an ICON in not only the sports he was involved in but also to anyone else who has the same injury he has.

He is probably my all-time favorite MX hero. For us Canadians, he is one of the biggest legends there is. I am just sickened by this news.

Prayers for Blair and his family.

Sean,

Do you know if this happend in 1st practice? I got there for the 2nd practice and never saw an ambulance nor did they say anything during the main event.

My best wishes to him and his family for a full recovery.

So sean.... what happend to you this year? you didn't get a chance to make it up here or just no time? I always loved watching you ride up here in the past.

Taken from the pink palace:
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your thoughts as our family faces this difficult time. Blair is doing better this morning and is eating. Unfortunatley the paralysis is permanent & cannot be reversed as he did sever his spinal cord.
Thank you,
Rachel (Blair's sister)
Damn this is a tough sport, just when everyone was so happy that JSR won his farewell race at Montreal, we have this to deal with now.

My prayers again go out to the Morgan family.

Brett Turcotte, a seven-year teammate of Morgan's on the Blair Morgan Racing Team, heard news of Morgan's accident yesterday in Colorado. "I guess he crashed on a small little double—he got rutted and then high-sided or low-sided, I'm not really sure yet. But from the people I talked to, it was the kind of thing that he should've walked away from. But obviously that wasn't the case," Turcotte told EXPN.com.

Dude, I'm so sick of people getting hurt this way. I've been a Blair Morgan fan since he showed up as a rookie on the Canadian National MX circuit. I was always, and still am,
impressed with his skill, determination and most of all his heart. He's also one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet.

Get well soon Superman.
