2007 Six 13 carbon with 105 group. This was my first road bike and I cant justify buying new considering it doesnt have a scratch after 5000 miles. I just really started doin longer rides of 70-100 mile days 2 years ago . I hate the winter here in reno/tahoe so its on the trainer in the garage for a few more weeks!!!!

Still rides great, although the gearing is definitely different to newer bikes, biopace chainrings, thinking about replacing them soon.
FYI, those 80's Centurion frames are starting to become collectible. Suspect it would fetch around $400 USD on eBay. To determine the model year, look for the serial no. under the bottom bracket shell. Centurion models manufactured in Japan between 1980-1990 use a WXYZZZZ format with:

W = a letter, purpose uncertain, possibly indicates a manufacturer or Centurion
X = a number, indicating the calendar year of manufacture
Y = a letter, indicating the fortnight of manufacture (A = wk 1 & 2, B = wk 3 & 4, etc.)
ZZZZ = four digit number, probably indicating frame number during fortnight of manufacture.

N4E0283, as an example, would indicate this is the 283rd frame made during the period of weeks 9-10 in 1984.

Not the best picture but my trust Trek 5500 and picked up my wife a Trek off Craigslist that the previous owner only rode once. Need to get a different wheel set for it as they don't roll very well but the rest should be good for the little she rides.

A lot of you have really nice bikes. I ride a Madone 2.1, for me it was a great bike for the cost, (under $1500) and it's still more than I thought I'd ever spend on a bicycle.

Good to know..

I doubt I'll sell it though, eventually when I get a bit more spare cash I'd like to restore it myself with some new-old parts, it currently has a Shimano RS-21 back wheel due to the original snapping 8+ spokes, got sick of replacing them.

N0G5072 is the serial number.

Since the mountain bike thread is up there I felt it was time to see everyones road bikes.
It's off season so I don't feel so bad digging up this old thread :D

I love me some Bianchi, but I'd have to go traditional with the Celeste green paint.

Damn that Bianchi looks nice. I'm looking at getting a road bike in February or March next season with tax return and bonus money. I've busted my ass this year and saved a lot of money. I also put my wife through nursing school and she graduates in 10 days. So I feel like I can justify dropping a couple grand on a nice road bike. I'll be reviving this thread once again when I get one.

This is actually the bike that I'm eyeballing. How do you like it so far?

Yeah, I'm a fan of Bianchis but funny enough I don't like the Celeste colour :D
I will pull the trigger on a Infinito CV soon but it will probably be a black/red/grey...

If you want a great bike I would recommend the Bianchi Infinito CV.
It won many shootouts and bike of the year awards last year.
Google it Smile
I just have to buy one!

Those were my first clip shoes a friend gave to me.
I think I glued them back together at least five times before they landed in the trash can.
I'm out of college now and can afford decent shoes.

No way man! Pretty much have the same frame and I've ridden the crap out of it. I think it's from 1987. Bought it in 2007 and probably have about 4,000 miles on it. Love that thing and it's super cushy. Great for touring too.
