If you want a bike to ride, hell yeah you should buy it. A lot of fun to be had for cheap. Best part, unlike a shiny new bike, it will always be worth $1000.00. Kind of like a free bike when you think about it.....Wink

I had that bike as well and really enjoyed it. It went straight as an arrow and turned decent. If it has a tight crank and runs good.....1,000.00 ??! Its like a sore dick....You cant beat it. Smile Good luck man

I had one as well. VERY stable, great power. You aren't going to out corner anyone, but everywhere else, a pretty damn good bike.
As long as everything is tight and it runs good, pretty decent buy.

You'd be stupid not to.I'd buy 4 of them for that price.

Unless it has some serious issues it looks like some cheap thrills.

Newmann - I never thought of it that way.........but you are 100% correct.

mxer613 - buy it and you will have all of your money back in fun in no time. (Cheaper than women and booze) Unsure

Buy the bike and then get booze to celebrate ! Even if it has to have some TLC... still not $8000.00 plus for a new dirt scooter.

For a $1000.00....heck yeah Jason , buy that thing! Like the other guys mentioned , if you want to sell it down the road , you'll get at least that back out of it. I'm in the same boat....and after I get my KXF paid off , I'm looking to pick up a later model KX 125 or possibly a 250. Leaning towards a 125 though.

I almost bought one with Chevy graphics a while back, but ended up going with my CR. So unfortunately I can't help you, but for a G, why not? Throw some Chevy graphics on it and call it an RC replica! haha

I had one and really liked it. Buy it throw a 03-07 front fender on it so it doesn't look quite so outdated and let it rip!
