this guy is a real genius here...he knows what I like better than I do, apparently.

Im actually rooting for Anderson on the 250s, that still doesnt change my opinion of the way he has been racing. He doesnt set people up at all, he just goes for contact or cuts across the track to "block pass".

I dont have a favorite rider...I like Dungey, Reed, Canard, and Tomac and I will root for (James) Stewart.

Stewart just got block passed and was going to make a block pass back on Anderson. However, Anderson cross jumped (a line nobody did all race, as KDub pointed out) and took them both out. This one is on Anderson. They shook hands after the race so all seems well with them. Just a racing incident.
I'd agree with that. It also got reviewed from several angles by the AMA crew.

Looked like Mookie lowered his shoulder and punted him on purpose, look closely at his body language. He perfected this move in the amateurs......

I think he went for the kill, maybe not as hard as what happened but definitely wanted to let him know not in my house. He learned that from the big boy class this summer.

Absolutely correct. Malcolm lowered his shoulder and knocked him off the bike. A thing of beauty, IMO. Anderson has had it coming for a long time, and if Stewart had wanted to hurt him, he would have. This was a payback warning bump...nothing more.

Jason needs to watch who he crosses. He'd be a fool to go toe to toe with Mookie.

I would as well, but in the quick 1min videos from RacerX Jason still thinks it was uncalled for. Maybe his position will change after cooling off for a day and watching the race.

Whatever the AMA says is most definitely, always, absolutely 95% correct.

If Anderson cross jumped like you guys say, 32 would've landed with the brakes on, but he didn't, he turned left.

SX requires block passes, not retaliations knocking both riders down and into oncoming traffic.

I understand what you guys are saying, but if your coming through the pack, while battling for a championship, you don't wait to make a clean pass EVERYTIME, while your rivals out front. You lose that war 9/10 my friend.

You think RJ, Ward, Stanton, MC, RC didn't block pass riders in the same situation?

Where is all this dirty riding everyone is talking about from Anderson? I have not seen him clean anyone out yet. He rides very aggressive and has had some sweet passes. Please show me all this dirty riding?

All the races from this season should be on Youtube, enjoy. Is he a pure clean-out artist? No. But a lot of his passes are overly aggressive. Is it fine to race like that? Sure, but don't be surprised when people start giving it right back.

Who cares, it was good to watch, nobody got hurt and now seely and Anderson are tied in points and it makes next week even better to watch.

Some of you people have obviously never raced, these guys have barely any time to react, Malcolm was only looking out for himself after the both took a different rhythm through the jumps. If Malcolm had of braked, Anderson probably would have taken out his front wheel. Nothing you can do.

IMO this was pretty comparable to a block pass situation in any other sx turn. Once mookie realizes Anderson was going for the outside he stood his bike up a bit and tried to cut Anderson off (Mookies line just looked unnatural to me). Neither rider wanted to give up position and boom! that's how racing incidents happen...

After watching the incident several times...I am correcting my above opinionated quote. It does look like that Anderson jumped into a line that Mookie wasn't expecting him to jump into, and he protected himself by lowering his shoulder into him and forcing him off of a worse collision.

Bottom line is...it doesn't make any difference what I or anyone here thinks. They shook hands and squashed it. The AMA looked at it and called it clean. Done deal.

Yeah they squashed it and shook hands. Malcolm seems cool with everything, but RacerX has a video interview with Anderson from after the race and it seems like he's still upset about it, even though they supposedly squashed it. I thought he might run it in on Mookie when he passed him the second time, but Anderson gave him a lot of space. That showed some class I thought, or maybe he just wanted to make sure Mookie had no reason to retaliate this time?
