I loved the PV one, I hadn't laughed that hard in awhile!

RM250racer.........If you have your bike stripped down and ready to paint.....don't! It won't last and you'll just have to go through the entire process of stripping it down again , because the paint won't hold up. Find yourself a great powder coating company and take it to them. It will hold up 10X better than just about any paint you could ever put on.
Also......is this possibly for the YZ build? Just curious.
and youd be correct that its for the build.
I'm sorry, but it was epic in every way.
As for the frame, there are Harbor freight powder coating kits. Just need one of those, and a junk over to bake it in, and you're set.

Mind you, it's more expensive than actually having a frame done, but you'll get to DIY..

Pit Row
Prep it real good. Sand and wirebrush the whole frame. If you can feel pits or scratches, you'll see them.
Whatever paint you use, prime it with the brand you're gonna finish it with.
When it's prepped, a real light first coat of primer, some call it a piss coat.
Let that dry real good, on a hot day in the Sun, 30 minutes is good.
Then 2 or 3 coats of primer over that. Flat red, white, grey, it doesn't matter.
Then, same with whatever color you go with. Piss coat, then 3 or 4 coats color.
It will look great, and wear fine.
I say splurge.
Before
After
I'd go the can route, put the money saved into a fresh set of Dunlops, where it really counts.
