If anything he brings excitement to the races. The only thing that boggles my mind is top folks in the industry keep giving this dude a break. Ried and Williamson putting together a deal for Hanny? What will he do with this opportunity?

Anyway, I thought he was on race suspension for 2014? Was it only partial or just bogus?

One of the perks of being insanely talented I guess. Really hope he works hard and can keep out of trouble this time around if he does end up getting a ride... nothing worse than squandered talent.

As for the race suspension I didn't think it extended the whole of 2014 but I'm not sure because I didn't follow the news that closely.

I don't know anything about him and the new Kawasaki deal......but I am about 99% sure it has nothing to do with racing SX or MX. Of course there is always the 1% chance that I'm wrong.........but c'mon guys.....when is Jeffro ever wrong? Pfft!.....like never! Silly

Apparently he had to take anger an management class and get a certification of completion. When he went to sign up in Phoenix the AMA asked for the certification and he didn't have it since he never took the class.

If you're asking what happened during the Alex Ray incident, I believe it was the LCQ at A1 last year where Hanny was in a qualifying position. He ran into a tuff block taking him way out of his qualifying position and with only a lap or two left (no chance to make it to a qualifying position) he T-boned ALex Ray and broke the kids knee brace. I heard his team suspended him for 1 race but I never saw anything about him again the rest of the year.

Did anybody see his track walk interview with Holley in Phoenix ? He said something about having a ride lined up for West Coast supercross but the AMA changed the rules right before the season started. Maybe I misunderstood but did he not ride lites back i 2000 or so ?

He's ridden lites a bunch. I'm pretty sure he rode for yamaha of troy back in the day, and i know mitch gave him a 2nd chance at Pro Circuit and he rode lites there the same year broc tickle won the west coast, 2010 or 2011 I believe. I think Hanny came 2nd that year behind Tickle. Then he went to Hart and Huntington on the 450. He's been a pro for a long long time. I'm not sure if he pointed out of the lites class yet though. I doubt he goes back down to the 250 again. Pretty sure if he ever does race sx again it'll be on a 450.

On the track, he may seem a bit overboard, but I've seen him EXTREMELY loyal to his fans. In Lakewood at MXoN, I saw him drop the act and ignore the entourage of Monster chicks hanging on him just to sign autographs for kids. Didn't give two shits about anything and was more than willing to take pictures with the kids. Never really disliked Hanny for any reason, but I was VERY impressed with him that day.
