Can he finally win a SX championship or will he get beat out by the youngsters?

I'd love to post something really dumb about Blake and make myself feel better, but I'm not really that witty.

No & yes. His skill set seems to just be outdoors. If the wrist gets better, I think he'll be at the top outdoors next season. The top dogs moved up, so I think he'll be fine even with the wrist.

Dallas 250SX in 2010 while on Rockstar Suzuki
Daytona and Las Vegas 250 SX in 2011 on PC.

Hope the wrist doesn't hinder his performance this and future seasons. He's only 20 now; 21 during SX. Not old compared to some vets of the 250 class.

How is Baggett doing? His wrist was definately holding him back all season but I wonder if he sits out until 250 east SX he will be 100%?

He should go on the pulpmx show and let his fans know how he is doing but he seems to like to stay quiet or when he did that one racerx interview last season he was out there a bit.

His wrist may have held him back but he still podiumed around 50% of the races last year.

His results were so erratic. For example he went 1-2 at Budds Creek and looked like Baggett from 2012, then goes 10-8 at Redbud, and is then robbed of a solid 2nd in the opening moto at Washougal the following weekend with a mechanical dnf.

Baggett suprised everybody by his "El Chupacabra" moves late in the motos when everybody else was slowing down, and he was just getting his ride on. That was pre-wrist injury & pre-everybody else getting faster, and faster for the entire moto. I like Blake, but I don't think he'll win another championship...at least in the 250's.

I honestly feel like he has the goods if his wrist was ever 100% again. He clearly just did the best he could with a bad situation this year. People forget how good Blake is when he is on his game.

He has that "Champion" trait in his genetics. Some dudes are happy, go lucky goofballs who ride awesome. Some guys are that Champion type, for example Bagget seems pissed off on the podium. I just notice that most champions are pretty dry on the podium.

That said, if he's in it, he's definitely in it to win the championship.

depends on how the coasts end up..
I doubt he can beat Musquin, not sure about Wilson, maybe some other surprises
