Great news for Roczen be interesting to see how it works out, HUGE commtiment.
Some of the comments got me thinking. How are these things arranged? Does the team seek out a top level trainer for their guy, does Ken ask Alden or does Alden offer his services? Does the team foot the bill or does the rider pay for it all? Can't be cheap to work with someone of his caliber.

No, he had a contract with Mitch 2 years ago but it wasn't exclusive and that was only for the year....nothing with him last year. Now as far as RV....who knows but my guess is that the contract is over and not renewed as most guys at that level want an exclusive to keep him from training his main comp.

Every rider Aldon has won with has won without him.

Aldon trains Wiemer and Rattrey too, how are they doing ?

RV wins because he is an animal, not because of Aldon. Rokz would win no matter who he trains with if he wasn't lazy, he needs to kick that first.

I been waiting for this to come out, after elsinore I wandered over to the press tent. Rv and Kenny were having a conversation about Kenny working with Aldon (Kenny was asking how to pronounce his name haha) seems those two get along prettty well.

Me too!! Getting adjusted to a full season of 450SX is gonna be huge (even though he did run some 450's on the opposite coasts in the past) i think this aligning w/ Aldon is about as smart of a move as he can make, besides getting the F out of this God awful state!

So Dungey trains and rides with RC who is a rival team owner, now Kenny will be training along side RV who is a rival as well. All sorts of weird shit going on.

I can't see Rv letting Aldon go. I know they argued over things , mainly because Aldon was pushing RV....but it was for the best. With this stage in RV's career.....I just can't imagine those two guys not working together. BUT.......I don't remember him training two top notch guys , in the same class on different teams before. maybe I'm forgetting something here. This is some interesting news.

RV and Aldon are still together and why would there be a problem training Ken on a different brand? There are different levels
Of how much work a trainer does with a rider and I am sure RV is paying a whole lot more for a higher level of hands on,than Ken will be,hence RV being Aldons#1. Also I am pretty sure RV isn't too worried about Ken in his first year,look at Barcia in his first year and the man strength!
The big question will be how Ken deals with what Aldon puts him thru day in day out,cause I seem to remember this season when Ken said his results were better when he started taking it easy a little more and surfing etc. pretty sure Aldon and him won't agree on those ideas. Lol!

Mostly what Aldon and good trainers do is keep the racers daily life organized. Basically they are a glorified baby sitter. If the racer follows the trainers daily schedule of eating correctly, working out/training consistently, resting properly and keeping the racer from succumbing to all the distractions and hanger ons. That in itself can take a rider to the next level. Very few racers can handle a very organized and challenging daily routine. That's why those types aren't in the winners circle. And those that can stick to the grind are .

Didn't Aldon say in an interview once that hè was gonna start a facility/company where he could train different athletes(i think it was a racer x interview)
Maybe in his contract with RV it says Aldon isn't obligated to RV alone
