Jerry Robin ready for the Ranch !

Yes there's a production rule. Otherwise this may have been a better choice.

Hey any idea where Chad got that HRC clutch cover for the '07 CR? I didn't think they existed for the '02-'07 CR engine. thanks

Do you think the people that really matter will take notice of him? I know people that don't like me are impressed but will the people that could help him along in his future care? With the bad motocross economy I hope somebody takes a chance on him!
Dude, try and keep up!

I got a clutch & ignition cover from a guy in England on ebay. I gave Chad the guy's info a while back for a Lamson replica he was working on. He just built the '07 that Jerry rode not too long ago, so I'm gonna guess either he got it from the same guy or the owner of the '07 acquired it himself. The guy in England was building replicas. Of course it's possible the one on the bike Jerry rode is an authentic HRC item, assuming someone has the right connections.

Chad was RC's mechanic at Honda in 2002 for the first perfect season. Maybe he kept a few parts if the 2002 and 2007 were interchangeable.

If he did, then I'm not sure why he asked me where I got mine. I haven't seen any HRC parts laying around in his shop the times I've been in there but I have bought some cool things from him like replica hubs & banjo bolts that he's had machined to his specs.

Hey if you have the info for the guy in England, could you send that to me please?

Also, I thought that particular clutch and ignition cover stopped with the 1986-2001 factory bikes. I saw 2002+ bikes running stock ignition covers and Hinson clutch covers.

I knew that was your bike and was making an educated guess about the cover but I didn't want to come across as a smartass. Major props to you for all your efforts, including getting Chad involved, for giving Jerry a fighting chance this past week. You have gone above and beyond in helping make one of the coolest stories in MX in a long time possible. I hope you are justly rewarded some day.

It has been a couple of years since I got mine but I'll see if I can find the info. If I can't, I'll get it from Chad. He's a little bit, no make that a lot more organized than I am, so he's probably done a better job than me of keeping up with that than I have. Give me some time though and I'll get it.

Aside from his riding ability, Jerry's humble personality, can do attitude, and overall positive demeaner, I think will go a long way towards getting him noticed by the industry. Obviously it already has. He's done quite a bit with so little, alll the while smiling. Impossible not to like the kid. Way to go Jerry!! Keep it up!

Ordered them for myself and a friend at the same time. Actually got a much better price that way.

Awesome for him. It would have been cool if TSM had a junior program, so he could be on a 250SX (for the day that the AMA allows 250 2s in the 250 class, which will never happen, but anyways).

That isn't actually the Geico amateur program is it? I thought their main sponsor was still Amsoil.
