Hey! A little update so far today! Engine brackets are finally welded, and dang they look good! I’m picking up some parts from Suzuki today and I’m going to start the final build up of the bike, just waiting for the exhaust to fit it on the bike in order to then decide where and how about the radiator spigots. Here are a few pics:

Hey y’all! Been busy the last days spanning wrenches on the bike. I trimmed the frame to make it more clean around the front engine bracket and also gained a bit of clearance for the exhaust. I started to play with the reed cage volume and pre-compression values so I’m modifying the V-Force Reed Cage (pictures and info soon), however I installed the oem reed cage in order to base run in the dyno. I’ve bought an original Mikuni TMX 38 and did a base jetting set up to start the bike. Also went to the Suzuki dealer to order...

After sourcing the '86 subframe, the biggest issues with the project were solved. Through M46parts, I got a CDI bracket, swingarm chain guides, the plastic air filter cage and shock resorvoir mounting piece for my bike. Additionally, I installed a UFO rear shock mudguard and '86-style 'Pro-Link' decals

I tried to avoid buying an expensive aluminum clutch cover and challenge myself at the same time. The next project was a big challenge: I tried to rescue a very corroded magnesium clutch cover with 3D-printed tubes (which I designed myself) inside the coolant passages and a lot of epoxy.

After I got parts delivery from WMX Service the crankshaft was rebuilt by a professional and the engine cases were assembled with new seals, gaskets and dowel pins.

Sorry, need to brag a bit. With all of the threads about tracks and riding areas closing, I wanted to make this thread to show that it is possible to grow the sport! In 2024 I hosted a single off-road event. The first ever in my region. Last year, I had two events. In 2026 I was able to host three events at three venues, and run a little series. Hey!! So a few updates since last post. I did pick up the front engine brackets in stainless steel like the ones displayed it the Swapmotolive RM 125 AF. But it doesn’t convince me so I did made another alu ones for the front as well, in order to gain a bit more space for the exhaust due being able to cut the little pretuberances of the oem bracket. I did also bought a V-Force reed cage and I’m playing with the reed cage volumes and pre-compression ratio in the crank. Next steep is to do the airbox conversion and...

Hey guys! So I had my machinist doing some extra hours for me, and the lower engine brackets are done and ready to weld! The upper ones are being cut with laser and in stainless steel but i will pick them up next week. Let me know what y’all think, next is to start with the airbox and carb. Thinking about doing a velocity stack also, but this will come once the bike hit the Dyno. Here are a few pictures:

Watch Charlotte 2025 and Chicago 2023. Those tracks offered incredible racing and passing opportunities and were true Hybrids with actual depth and ruts. The issue is they built this track on Plywood it was always going to end up being super shallow and hard pack straightaways that offer no passing. Notice, how deep the track gets when there is no Plywood (Chicago + Charlotte):
