Or that's the rumor. As good as Davi looked last year in SX on yellow, how will the KTM fit him?

Team has to go where it gets support....

I guess they may not have a choice, but the Zook is a way better and more refined factory machine for than the KTM, IMO.

As good as the KTM seems to be, I think that DM raised his game because of the Suzuki. I know they don't seem to offer any good support (they're probably damn near broke), but the bike is very good and seems to excell in SX. I fear that the switch to KTM will be a step down even with factory support from what they had. Of course, what the hell do I know.

If true this sucks. I hope Suzuki gets it act together and they need to put Davi on another team riding Suzuki. Will they have some 250 riders with Yosh - if not there will not be many if any Suzukis contending in the 250's.

They also need to step up their amature game. I know the money may be an issue for them but they need to get the kids on the yellow bike so other kids will ride yellow. Although building the Brand back up starts with seeing Suzuki's contending in both the 250's and 450's getting the kids to race them is huge.

On last weeks PulpMX Fly moto 60 show Matthes said DM18 can opt out his contract if Rockstar changes bike brands. After he road last year he would be crazy to be on anything BUT a Suzuki. Highly doubt he'd play second fiddle to Bubs again so RCH would probably have a good shot at landing him. I'd love to see him @ RCH!

There are a few folks in the R-Star camp that're still working on this: even "Honda" has come up in the conversation.

Me? I think Suzuki is out of their head if they don't support this team...Davi made their "Production" bike look GOOD.

If he would land at RCH we'd see the best production to date of DM18.. Between the combination of Ricky and Ezra a boot would constantly have to be removed from Davi's ass. A healthy Davi Millsaps could take it to another level and give RCH the championship contender they're seeking. Cool A win win and losta cash to be made IF Rockstar bails on yellow.

There's tension between RC and Yogi from what I understand. They were good friends at one time, but now, I believe there is still tension from when RC was younger.

as much as i am a ktm guy id like to see DM back on the suzi. bike looked like it fit him like a glove last season.

DM looked great on the Suzuki, and he said many times he liked the bike. But I think the main advantage he had this last SX season was that he had his head on straight...much more that than having a better bike. He'll be fast on the KTM too.

KTM's main objective is to promote their line of motorcycles. Why would they ever agree to a sponsorship deal with Red Bull that could prevent them from supporting other race teams?

They definitely need to look at the amateur end more closely. There used to be so many yellow 85's and Supermini's. Now the 85's are almost gone. Still a lot of supermini's, but the RM85 is becoming a ghost. All orange and green bikes out there. My son prefers the RM, because it handles better, but with everyone else make new 85's it will be hard to stay on them.

Red Bull did not sponsor the US KTM team for a couple of years and we had the Muscle Milk KTM and Jaegermeister KTM teams.

Do you know this for a fact or have heard it from either horses mouth? I know nothing of any tension but I don't know nothing to begin with. If there was a hatchet to be buried I'm sure both would do it considering RCH lands a title contender and Davi would be on a factory bike. Win win anyway you look at it.
