Tweet from Steve Cox yesterday:

@RealSteveCox: I guess because I'm white, "fans" think they should share racist thoughts about @js7 with me after he wins his first moto of the year.

That is pretty messed up. I would rather have James move in next to me than those dip shits hanging over the fence.

Honestly.....If I were James , and heard any shit like that from the fence line ( hopefully in a corner ) I'd ride that corner high , square it off , pin it and dump the clutch on those pricks. Probaby knock out their one good tooth so they couldn't chew food......they would have to stick to moonshine. They can go back home to their single wide and brag to all their redneck buddies how the dissed James....all the while sporting their wife beater tank tops and gettin' in some wrasslin' matches.

That was funny Laughing Laughing

When that happened in 2007 he said he would go through the corner where they were and give them a thumbs up every lap.
I guess trying to show them they couldn't get to him. I think they were holding a sign up before his mom walked over that said, go home N*****

On the PulpMX show he said that stuff like that happens every week, and the only reason he talked about it this last Southwick is because it involved his mom. He also said it is most surprising when little kids say that stuff to him.

So stoked that ol Stewie was able to land the overall, both Motos were nail biters. For me the best part was when Big James came up a gave his boy a kiss and hug. As a parent that feeling when your kid does something spectacular is pure bliss.

Now for the redneck assholes it's an embarrassment to us white folks. That pic speaks volumes and its pretty damn ignorant.

Wow, I've never seen that before. Fuck I hate racists, I rarely even think about the fact that James and his brother are black. I feel sorry for that family having to deal with these ignorant fucktards.

Nice to see James back on top. Motocross won't be the same when he retires.

No wonder he didn't wanna race outdoors for a couple years. Having to deal with that kind of bullshit.. And it's still going on today? DC and his crew should be all over that, banning these pricks for life. It's 2013 for fuck sake. What the fuck is wrong with the world.

Dang, I live in the Ozarks...which is the "whitest" place on God's green earth. I thought that type of utter stupidity was pretty much localized to around here. Guess I was wrong. Guess there are freaking stupid white-trash racist idiots in Minnesota too...and their equally freaking stupid white-trash racist idiot girlfriends too!

GREAT to see James win the overall! His race with Canard in the first moto had everybody in my living room standing up & clapping!! Smile
I read in a interview that JS7 did a few yrs ago [cant recall where it may have been espn mag..] he said one of the reasons he didn't want to race outdoors any more was because of the way his family was treated at some of the outdoor races he,even said how his mom was called racist names! This was after his perfect season..Sad man smh..If you go back and watch his ESPN 60 video his father even speaks on how they were treated going to the races.I am a JS7 fan and TC41 fan congrats to both you guys.

I refuse to believe these guys are core fans. I think they just hear that there is going to be some dirt bike racing and they buy tickets and a case of beer and show up to watch racing. There's no way they can follow the sport and not have respect for the Stewart family. . .

That race was so awesome to watch. I'm glad to see JS7 get that win and prove he can still take a few more! Hopefully there is more of this to come.

I am afraid you're kidding yourself on the racists in the sport stuff.

Nice to finally see his trademark smile back last weekend... If he's wearing that smile he will be winning motos ... Bad news for the ryans..

I was born into a white trash family and world. I was racist for no explainable reason except that's what I was raised in and around. I joined and retired from the Air Force. I ate, slept, shit, showered, shaved, sweat, and bled with blacks (and other non-whites). By order and experience I shed my bias and prejudice. I was sick and angered when that shit was made public...but I know that wasn't the first time nor the last James and his family have endured such ignorance. I'll always have extra respect for that entire family because of their tenacity.

I've met and hung out with his mother and father away from the races. They don't deserve any of this racial white trash nonsense.

Congrats to James. He has been going faster each week and his endurance has also been improving. It was only a matter
of time before he won a moto. After this win and Trey's 2-2 finish we should have some great racing down the stretch. It was
fun to watch James and Trey battle all day. It sure would be nice to see James, Trey, and the Ryan's get out front together and battle all moto long.

"I kept waiting for something bad to happen". - James Stewart

You gotta love his always optimistic attitude. Even when he has a string of bad luck, he keeps a smile. Very cool to see him win a moto and that was some awesome racing between him and TC and Barcia deserves a nod too. All three were riding great.

I wasn't a fan of Bubba for years. This had nothing to do with Bubba... it had everything to do with me. I was big fan of RC and didn't want to see Bubba beat my favorite rider.

I now appreciate all of these riders. I still have my some favorites.... Tomac and Canard. However, I love to see bar banging, fast, talented, riding. In my opinion, the talent pool is the deepest since the mid 1980s.

As far as flat out hate for riders: I never understood it still do not. Bubba takes a beating from fans at every event.... listen to some of the people at Supercross. Its embarrassing for humans (it transcends beyond moto)

Congrats Bubba.... love seeing you on the gas and giving back to the people.

I still feel your nephew has an edge. This era is one of the greatest. RV is the man.... love how he rides. Has RJ's motivation, RC's determination, Hannah's aggressiveness, and Bubba's speed.... unreal talent

That overall just bumped Stewart to fifth on the all time 450 motocross win list or fourth if you count Dungey and Hannah tied for second.

Rider Hometown Wins
1. Ricky Carmichael Havana, FL 76
2. Bob Hannah Carson City, NV 27
3. Ryan Dungey Belle Plaine, MN 27
4. Ricky Johnson El Cajon, CA 22
5. James Stewart Haines City, FL 19
6. Kent Howerton San Antonio, TX 18

I was happy for James. I think he is on an upswing but he still has a ways to go to ride at the Ryans pace for the whole moto. My son and I are both big JS7 fans.

James has the speed, just needs the endurance to come back. Nothing has changed from the first 4 motos of last year other than his knee. Once he is 100% I think he will be battling all moto long. Not to mention the guy still pulls some amazing crap off, by far the most enjoyable rider to watch IMO

He's always been able to see and do crazy obstacles/lines before anyone else would/could. Specially in his 125/250 days. Now everyone has a insane amount of power, so its leveled the playing field tremendously.

Ugh, that picture makes me sick. Thankfully it seems like James doesn't give a shit as long as it doesn't involves his family. I know that there has been a few incidents with his younger brother too, I guess that he's getting used to it too. And how sad is that....

But a bit more ontopic here: It was great to see Stewie finally pull another win!

Am I the only person hoping GoPro releases the whole first moto footage?
