no , he forgot the bit about being stuck in third gear........

I'm looking forward to Teuchenthal , wondering if i'll actually get to see Baggett race on a sunday and not get lapped. he's 4 for 4 at the minute.

No.

It's simple:

RV2 had to pass the fastest premier class MX racers in the world to get to 4th whilst Herlings was up against the junior class of tier 2 riders in the world.
7/1/2013 3:12am
you are simple ! tier 2 lol

rv went down more than once from the race report

neither ride was as impressive as lommel moto 3....

Yup, you're new alright. You are one of the MANY who signed up immediately following the 2012 MXoN to join in the U.S.A. bashing that took place. You sir, are a douche. Herlings is faster than everyone...ever. Will you go away now?

Surprised no one pointed this out. Who the hell, besides Herlings, puts their tear off tabs on the RIGHT side? Is that some euro shit?

Actually, I used to put mine on the right as well. Because I like to pull across my face with my left hand and keep my right hand on the throttle. I also learned in heavy rain/mud races to have 4 or 5 tearoffs over my roll-offs and the roll-off pull was on the left. Pull my few tear-offs from the right and not worry about the roll-off pull getting in the way.

I guess we'll see how fast Herlings is at Germany against our guys here in a few months.

If he beats our guys........he's the best in the world.

If he "doesn't" beat our guys.....no worries , it was just a one off race that doesn't mean anything.

Makes little sense besides the roll off bit. Tab on the left, reach up with the left and pull left to right, all while WFO. Guess we all have our preferences. Ps thanks for ruining the bait.

Herlings is a bad dude on a dirt bike...nobody can deny that. Herlings + Sand = AMAZING

But what are the euro-cheerleaders going to do when he comes to America to race? I guess you can hang your hat on the Italian (AC)...but it must REALLY chap your hides that your MX2 world champs keep coming to America to race....

Yeah it does a bit, but as soon as one goes another group of riders come through, much like your own series.

The French have a whole bunch of young riders that look very promising; Tixier, Teillet, Charlier, Febvre, Ferrandis & Desprey. Any of them could suddenly step up to become great riders just as Musquin and Paulin and Frossard did a few years. Herlings team mate Jordi Tixier is probably his closest rival this year and is clearly learning from him, he's really improved since last season.

The European youth series are churning out some pretty fast kids so the future looks quite good I would say.

Good to know about the up and coming riders.

I get in on the USA/GP's debate on occasion (mostly in fun)...but its a world economy...a strong GP scene benefits the AMA scene and visa versa...so I'll never wish ill will on the GP's. Besides, that toothy Italian is one of my favorite riders...and the entire vibe of the GP's is just plain cool.

I wish there was an American round...and closer to Utah at that (hey, I hear they are building a national caliber track at Miller Motorsports Park...someone get Luongo-however you spell it-on the phone...Miller needs big time racing BAD...I'm sure they'd jump at the chance of hosting a GP).

Man I hope you are joking...

Guy who said GPs are a second rate series is an idiot.

Guy who made comparisson of Herlings to Decotis being lapped is an idiot.

Guy who uses Herlings finishing ahead of RV in one muddy moto as proof of his "hardpack" skills is an idiot.

But you, mathew, take the overall win with that post. Stiff competition in this thread though, gotta hand it to you.

Herlings is the guy who beat Villopoto twice now, both in the sand (Belgium) and on hardpack in France.

He's legit, that's what.

Villopoto is the fastest MX racer in the most competitive MX series in the world......Those are facts; you can debate anything else you want. As for "who cares".....I'm guessing his family, friends and fans.

Which makes your first tier racers look like chumps when he lapped them.

I must have missed the race in Belgium where Villopoto even rode.
