MX grips, which ones do you use?

Edited Date/Time 6/23/2013 8:26pm
Hey everyone,
I'm in need of some help to choose some new grips for my bike. I currently have the Pro Taper Pillow Top, they are a decent grips but I am looking for something a little bit smaller in diameter. I was considering the Pillow Top Lite or the Pro Taper RC grip, but I'm definitely open to other opinions.

Let me know which grips you guys use!
Ride on!

I can't hang on as well as I used to and the Tag Rebound grips are great for me, I get arm pump pulling the bike off the trailer and these grips flat out help me hang on. I dislocated and fractured my left wrist years back which didn't help any.

Highly recommend for anyone with poor gripping strength.

Only drawback is they are slightly large but they've added a slimmer design that I haven't tried yet. Here's an MXA column regarding the new Lo-Pro's....

http://motocrossactionmag.com/Reviews/News/MOTOCROSS-ACTION-PRODUCT-TES…

No I don't work for Tag and I have to buy all my own stuff.

... but if Tag would like to throw me a couple of sets of Rebounds I wouldn't refuse them. Whistling

Used to run all kinds of Renthal until I tried ODI Ruffian Half Waffle Troy Lee Designs Grips. Now there is no return.

white-soft grips are the best ever. I was an Oury guy for 30 years or so before that. Grippy (or maybe more so than the Oury with that fish scale like bumps) and very durable.

The colored grips wear like iron, but I don't like them as much. Both grips are very thin profile, thinner than a Oury waffle with the palm ribs cut out.

I ran Renthal full waffle for years. My KTMs come with half waffle. I like them just fine. They seem to wear out pretty quickly though.

I just got my first pair of these and they are great grips for half the price of the Renthal kevlars, and I really like the Renthals kevlars.

Same, but no waffle. I had problem with positioning the waffle, so i startted using no waffle versions. Medium and soft are both realy good.

odi grey full waffle with the top waffles cut off....dont ask me why but the full waffle grips offer a different feel that i like better than the standard half waffle and are easier on the hands without been to fat!

Been using Renthal soft 1/2 waffle for years. Always use the Renthal grip glue!

Did you notice there are arrows on the end of the grip so they are installed properly???

Tried the dual compound but my thump wore a hole through in the 1st ride......went back to the softs.

Yep, clamp on grips rule. Only draw back is if you use a custom throttle tube.
