Congrats. A fire breather year for that bike. Mellowed too much in 1985 and epic in 1986.

Thanks yeah it’s a long story but also had a 84 CR250 when I was 15! But this was in 1999, I built the bike from the frame up.. had to find every part for it.. it was my first true 250 Mx bike. The transmission blew up on it and I traded it for a car.. so it’s very sentimental to me!

Awesome restoration job...!! She's beautiful...!! I raced one back in '84 as a 15-year old and considering I was only on an 80 the prior year it was a big transition. It did everything right and was a really great bike! I enjoyed checking out your fantastic work on it!

Thank you John! your 125 is also very well done! I saw your bike and decided to post mine, not many nice 84 restorations around. It’s honestly my favorite year out of the 83-87 bikes. I’ve started restoring my 83 250 now. I hope to get it done by this time next year, not going as crazy with that one.
