Tomac should have.

After watching that... Kenny clearly had the worst race points wise (given that he wasn't in it) but mentally that can't have done Eli any good either - in a way maybe worse. Still, from his pov he'll want to rally back from that next week and he now has a very real possibility (like in Marvin in the East) for a shot at the title if things go his way. That may be enough to reignite the ET of earlier in the season. I didn't think he looked that bad anywhere bar the whoops.

Both KR and ET will be kicking themselves right now.

I have that race on an old vhs tape. He was getting passed left right and center in the whoops. The whoops were his nemesis that whole season.

Would have loved to see them come out tied and take it Vegas with a winner takes all scenerio. It will still be a clutch situation for both and very interesting to see who can handle the pressure best.

Would have been fun to be a fly on the wall in the KTM hauler. RD "What were you thinking? KR "Don't know boss, maybe I wasn't"!

Maybe he just wants to make it exciting for us.

By the looks of these posts, it appears Ryan Hughes has multiple accounts on this site. Lots of know-it-alls.

5 points separate 1st and 2nd in both 250 classes. It's all in the script.

compare Mookie's interview talking about the whoops vs Tomac..

one dude doesn't give a shit and hung it all out vs a dude that cares too much about his shit and rode tight

all that practice having his dad and brother berate Mookie if he let off the gas in the whoops paid off last night.

I'm not sure I would call it choking. He had a bad race all day. It's not like he rode great until the main...

I think almost everybody is overlooking this, both his and Osborne's bike looked terrible in the whoops compared to the TLD and Rockstar guys. Osborne even crashed there later in the race. Eli looked okay just about everywhere else.

Eli's forks looked to be blowing through their stroke to me.

If that's the case, I think he rode a hell of a race to finish like he did!

HA!!.....That is pure gold.....and very true! I think Eli did the best he could last night and the pressure just got to him. He didn't qualify good either.....so he knew he was in for a rough night. He got a mulligan with Ken not making the main........just made Vegas more interesting.

It did look like his front end was riding high all night. I noticed that. It's a bummer for Eli though. Being 5 points back. A win in Vegas and Roczen second won't be enough. But I believe he will win a tie breaker.

What about KR pulling off in the heat race to "save his strength for the main"? A better gate pick in the LCQ would have gone a long way for a good start?

Yep, I was thinking the same... Not so much a meltdown for Tomac, as a shitty suspension issue with the Geico Hondas. Something was up there, cause both Osborne and Tomac looked terrible through the "whoop pad"!

Except Tomac was getting passed all over the track, not only through the whoops.

Just looked to be riding too tight to me.

How do you know why he choked? Are you friends with him? How do you know more than us? Looks it's all fun. We are just bench racing. I just feel like there is no need to start getting angry at us. Tomac knew what he did. Not trying to kick him when he's down. He knew he blew it but hey that's just how it goes sometimes. Just racing. Most of us have been through something like it before.
Ok, maybe I should have said: "in my opinion" before I typed that sentence. I'm not sure why you don't think I have a right to an opinion. I'm also not sure why you think I'm angry with you, I made my original statements before you entered the thread.

Chill out bro, you'll have a happier life.

I was a little worried the whoops were getting inside of Eli's head. Glad yall noticed the suspension.

Maybe it's a motogods thing; gave back Tomac the race he missed to match them up that way, but no leap frogging Kroc. And good for the fans in Vegas.

Go motogods

K nancy, first of all when I was 19 I wasn't a champion and going for another championship, THIS Is WHAT PRO MOTOCROSS racers do and they get paid to do it at their best his age is irrelevant. Think more talk less
