Ouch Steve!!! I was just fixin' to fetch some burritos buddy, but the inside of your hip kinda knocked the edge off it. I'll pray that you heal up well and can come to Muddy Creek. We might throw a big jam if you're interested.

LOL............ Those pictures made laugh so hard beer came out of my nose..... First pic a nasty looking knee due to a broken friggin' femur..... Second pic a majorly deep gash which looks like it is right on the hip bone so you know that hurt like hell..... Last pic(and the one that made me LOL) some goofy looking mug in a neck brace with a drug induced shit eatin' grin.............

I don't think I had gotten drugs yet, but I was KO'd, and they had put traction on my femur, so I was feeling like a million bucks compared to just prior.

There's a whoop/jump section at Milestone, out of a 180 left, that everyone was going 2-2-2-1 through, but I wanted to go 3-2-2 on my RM250. And I did! About a dozen times. But then it went bad. I'm still not sure how it happened. Probably never know.

I just remember being all "Superman" off of it, and landing on the left side of the bike, with my head hitting the face of one of the whoops.

Then, waking up, trying to roll over, and realizing my left leg didn't want to come with me.

I'll be fine. We all know this shit when we strap on our helmets.

For gear, I was not wearing neck protection or a chest protector, although I had one of those foam under-jersey roost guards on.

No knee braces, either. Just knee pads.

Doc says my femur was a really clean break and I can put as much weight on it as I want, as soon as it doesn't hurt too bad.

Sheesh Steve! That's a gnarly one for sure. Glad you aren't suffering too much with it. One question though... The hip laceration, was that from the footpeg?
