I think after last night he has to be a bit demoralized. Getting tracked down and passed by Hahn was probably bad enough, but to get spanked by a rookie??

I don't care, I have not been a big fan since last year. He seemes to have a sense of entitlement.

This Championship is in Hahn's hands now.

im a big Dean fan and think something was off with him at Daytona but regardless his stock in getting a 450 ride next year has got to be plummeting right about now.

Wilson spends way too much time trying to take out other riders, period. I can't believe all the people who want to complain about Friese, but don't say anything about Wilson trying to take everyone out every time he passes or gets passed.

I'm over being a fan, don't like dirty riders.

There was obviously something wrong with him, either mechanically or physically. "You're only as good as your last race" is baloney. Wilson is an excellent rider who is fighting against some unidentified problems, and those problems are winning for the time being. But he'll be back on the top of the box before long.

Totally disagree with that, looked like nothing but a racing incident pure and simple, between he and that outside pass on Bell, but I do believe he is dealing with an injury and therefore isn't training like he should, therefore dropping anchor, or some other issue. He is a better outdoor rider, and Daytona would favor a rider like him.
He did close early on in the race on Musquin, and they were both pulling away from Hahn, but then as Musquin held strong, Dean fell apart?

Or maybe they just happen to touch bars as Wilson was making the pass, ever heard the expression "banging bars". If you have ever raced before I'm sure you would have touched bars with someone. Sometimes you go down, sometimes they go down, sometimes no one goes down. Nothing dirty, just racing.

What a precariously fine line these guys have to walk with the fans...."He needs to be more aggressive and not let these guys push him around"...."There was no call for that...he's just a dirty rider". SX/MX is a brutal, dangerous mix of skillfully semi-controlled chaos...stuff is ALWAYS going to happen.

Erin wore him out at putt-putt? After the golf round he started thinking how it cool would be to play golf and not get hurt? He knows how to ride a bike but maybe just to young to know how to ride an experienced ride like Erin???

Wow I hadnt even considered that. I dont think he did it on purpose but as skilled as these guys are I guess its possible. I cant imagine trying a move like that as I'm sure I'd be the one on the ground.

He went wide in that left-hander after the finish line whoops twice, rolled thru it, looked over as he got passed by Hahn and eventually Martin. It was weird, and kind of a bummer to watch.

Funny how most years it's the 250 class that has all the action, but 2013 has been all about the 450 parity.

I agree, my only comment on Deano was him rolling thru that corner as he got passed two laps in a row. I'll pretty much always want a rider to be aggressive rather than not, as long as it's shy of blatantly dirty (like Friese or even Bubba - yeah, I said it - have been known to be).

My dad was the biggest RC fan on earth, and he always hates it whenever James takes a guy high or runs a bit of a straight line thru a corner. He about lost it during the first MEC when RC said if he couldn't win, he'd take someone out who could! I still remind him of that quote haha

Don't know why and can't even speculate, but sitting trackside, I noticed he was not pushing the engine like he usually does. He was not on or near the rev-limiter like he usually does or did earlier in the day.

Its odd that riders at this level still get arm pump. You would think that the pros would have it figured out or have had surgery to fix it.
