Now that Casey Stoner has made a good transition from MotoGP to V8. Do you think Chad Reed will follow suit next year as his results have slipped this year? I don't know if Reed and Stoner are buddies or not but it would seem like a good time for Reed to make the move. If Stoner can get good results it may set the stage for the V8 teams to look at motorcycle racers as a good fit to drive their cars.
The question I have is... when Reed does move on does 22 motorsports close up shop or does he find another rider and keep the team going?
The Shop
DeCal Works Huge Plastic Inventory of UFO and Polisport kits.

Luxon 4-Post Bar Mounts

I think what makes Reed unique is his marketability that isn't driven on results necessarily. He seems to be marketable even when he isn't winning and can attract unorthodox sponsors. In order for his team to be successful long term, he needs a rider that can potentially win but also follows in his same persona lifestyle.
Team Two Two 2014 - Dean Wilson
I think Reed was trying to get Dean ligned up when Ward folded but he couldnt get the support from Honda. We know Reed isnt going to switch to Kawasaki, so that may be where Dean ends up....450 SX and MX with PC in 2014 ...then Team Kawasaki in 2015 when Weimer is gone....thats IF he does well in the 450
I can see him doing a Carey Hart and bouncing all over racing cars and running a team, ect.
what would stop him?
Chad Reed knows there is more to life than his race results. He's smart, talented, charismatic, has resources but most importantly he is RESOURCEFUL. He uses his mind and abilities on and off the bike to achieve his goals. He's confident and patient.
To the people of Vital, don't worry about him too much. He's better off than 90% of you. Because he's happy. And consistently everything I said above.
Do spend some time working on being more Chad-like though. It would do us all well.
Pit Row
Also, I don't see him continuing TwoTwo after he retires. He strikes me as an individual who is responsible with his money; conversely, owning a team is something that I would never consider a responsible financial venture in this climate.
It will largely depend on how the nationals go at this point... He could still come out and do well, softer dirt outside.
