I still want to know who Hanny took the **** out in the turn before the finish line. I was third base side in the upper view section watching, right in front of the finish line.

It looked like he was racing some guy for last place in the LCQ, on the last lap, in the turn before the finish, and he TBoned the crap out of a lapper and then just rode off with the other guy after the finish line, talking to him.

Was there any footage of this on the Speed coverage or any pictures anywhere? I got a retweet from Matthes with my version of what happened and twitter blew up with people calling Hanny a dbag and etc.

??
...........first it was Nicoletti.....then he went after Chisholm......then A. Ray! I was there......JH60 IS a dirtbag!

Hanny is a boss, and no one on here is going to be pissed if he lines up at every race this year. He is exciting to watch even if you dont like him

Yeah, it was Alex Ray.

You can also assume that taking someone out on the last lap of the LCQ in a battle for last place won't sit well with the officials.
My gf did say they took a bright pink helmet off of him. I remember watching 314 with the pink helmet practicing during the quals. I thought he was a glow head but then I remembered that they wore bright orange.

I am pretty sure that ARay was a lapper and that Hanny was racing with someone else when he slammed into ARay. Hanny rode off the finish line next to the guy he was racing, and then rode next to each other for the next turn and half the rhythm section. I thought they were going to fight....

Hansen was probably delusional at the time. He was pretending it was 2005 again and he was racing for championships.

Quick quiz. How many photos do you think I've ever shot of last place in an LCQ? I'll give you a hint...it starts with a z.

The coverage here completely missed it. Didn't miss his first crash though.

Pretty disappointing that someone would punt another rider in a battle for last in the LCQ. What's the difference between last and second last in terms of $$? $10?

edit: just looked it up....the difference is zero. 11-22nd payout is the same.

The coverage here missed Barcia's crash too. All we saw was an upside down rear wheel in the background of the battle for the lead.

If you consider a boss a douche then you are spot on.

Why would a guy like Kranyk go race with JH when he could go racing with a guy like Metty, who as I mentioned in another thread is a consummate pro? He is clearly off the pace, at least right now, and the class is faster than ever. If you don't show up with a clear mind and solid prep you aren't going to make main events. A least that is how it looked at A1.
Bro appeal.

A newer version of JLaw....with much less talent.

Actually, comparing them is a bit unfair to JLaw. I thought JLaw seemed like a pretty down to earth guy. Hanny...not so much.

Let me guess, he goes to church every Sunday, donates money to orphans and its an example to society outside the track. His behavior speaks for itself!

Very smart to make a decision about someone based off what little you see of them on TV.

The one time I met him he was super cool. But punting people at the ass end of the LCQ is kinda ridiculous. Who knows though maybe there was beef between them beforehand? Hopefully Hanny does some riding this week and gets the Kawi working right and does better in Phoenix.

Seems you already have your mind made up on the situation so ill save the waste of time on something useful.

Many people are dicks on the field, court, track, etc etc, but are nice, good people off. Maybe you should take the time to meet these people before you shit on them.

I made my judgment based on what I know about him, his track antics and off the track irresponsible behavior. What do you know about him that can refute the obvious?
