For me it's any one of the early Elsinores.

nospeed gets it right: --> early 125 grey tank elsinore FTW !
the thing just screamed light, aluminum tank, downpipe. For sound, Nothing beats a tight running '73Elsi125.

also 1977 RM125: sweet little bike.

I totally agree on #1. When that bike came out it was totally jaw-dropping. I had an '89 KX125 (possibly my favorite bike ever though - loved the electric motor which was great for skinny young kids), but I wanted the '90 so bad.

I had to wait until '91 and ironically, never liked that bike. The motor just blew.

Sorry, any list of best looking bikes that omits the 78-79 Cr250r has a gaping hole.

I always thought the '06 KX's looked really sweet too.

I also think the current generation RMZ 250 looks really good, but I prefer the 2010 livery:

My first MX bike right there, 1978 CR250R Elsinore. I agree it is a pretty bike but to me all those pre 80's bike just all look a bit too crude for me.

In Australia the 92 RMs came with Yellow shrouds, side plates and rear fender, with the same graphics, which did help it some... Kinda just made the graphics crazy rather than spew...

I also gotta say the 1994 KXs were my fav... they looked nice, and Kied and LaRocket were killing it outdoors too...

Personally one of my favorites. Sleek but simple. The bright green also presents well

My vote goes for the 89-92 Suzuki RMs. The photos earlier in the thread are proof those were and still are one of the best set of bikes ever made.

I also loved the look of the late 80s Huskies

If you are under 40 or so, you might not appreciate some of these quite as much, but this bike sprouted more wood from young moto bros than you could imagine......!
