You're serious aren't you?

Gibby of course anything worthwhile performance wise isn't going to be inexpensive Smile

I wonder, since breathing helium makes you sound like a munchkin, would breathing a heavy gas like argon make you sound like Barry White?

makes you sound like the Devil, bro, and f**ks you up for a few minutes.

also kills people, so i wouldn't recommend it.
Well, I can't say I really ever huffed anything, but if I ever decide to start huffing and I want to sound like the devil, I'll remember to try some air cleaner.

I've got some insider info here... 78% Nitrogen, 20% Oxygen, 1% Argon, with the last 1% being traces of around a dozen other gasses.

I have to agree with you on that !

I had to wait a second for it to register what the mix was, Physic class was a long time ago.

Just like most people don't know what Dihydrogen - Oxide is.

I don't know man, maybe some people on here should try it and help stop cluttering the boards with a lot of crap.

As serious as a bag full of puppies! I used to run helium all the time in my piggish 2004 crf450. I even put it in the fork tubes in place of air since it let the oil react faster and not foam up, plus the helium, being less dense, would create a plusher feel on chop.

1) Gas mass density has no effect on pressure. PV=nRT...

2) Helium will act differently, but from my calculations, it would make things harsher rather than plusher. Helium has a higher specific heat ratio than air, so the pressure will ramp up quicker in helium than in air as the chamber volume is reduced (thanks to adiabatic compression).

Since this thread just will not die, its time to explain the theory. Basically, Helium is introduce into the frame to enable wave-particle duality to the motorcycle. The effect of this is to utilize the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle making it easier for passing to occur later in the moto as the Helium atoms in the frame elevate to an excited state. Looking at this graphical depiction helps illustrate the concept:
