From what I saw from the stands was that CR22 did have to move over because (I think #801) was in the line that he had been taking on previous laps. I was at CR22's trailer when he rode up and they had his right leg in a splint from hip to ankle. They had to carry him into the trailer. CR22 was in some Serious pain and he said to one of his team mates that it was bad.
I've torn both my ACL's and hope for CR22 it's something minor.
I saw RV making some mistakes tonight when CR22 was pushing him. From what I saw CR22 had something for RV tonight.
I hope that we get to see CR22 line up and race again soon. I know I enjoy the racing more when he is on the track.
Get well CR22.

Ok, I was simply asking you a question, which you came up with a somewhat kind of valid answer to. Good job. Not sure what your last line means, but I have raced in my lifetime, so looks like you lose on that one. Hopefully you aren't writing that book because you have a tough time spelling/compiling a sentence.
That's why you pay for a publisher, they make it all perfect for guy's like you that have education.

That is what I saw too. I didn't have dvr on so I could not rewind on hd. I posted this on the first page.

I wonder if they are ever going to do something about lappers like that. I mean there have been some serious close calls with the triples when a rider is rolling over them one at a time and the leaders come up and are jumping over the riders head.

Why wouldn't jeff alessi not pull off and continue to block the race? Was he trying to potentially help his brother or what was his deal?

Geez, come on folks it was a mistake by Reed that unfortunately ended in injury and him not getting any points tonight. Hopefully he will be back soon, but to try and blame another rider for this is total BS.

Shit guys, injury is not confirmed nor denied. Everything up until we get a confirmation from TwoTwo saying anything is speculation.

Obviously he was in some serious pain, let's just hope it's not serious. Good luck Chad!

Reed has been my guy since James let him by only to pass him back in the nats in his Rookie year. Then seeing his Debut at A1 on a 2 srtoke where he looked just like MC. I remember that night well. He was catching RC through the whoops going insane fast. The crowd embraced him as MC locals just got done watching RC overtake MC's reign of domination. Reedy was the new hope! Since then Reedy has gotten right to the top sooo many times only to draw a bad hand and see it all go up in flames. 2nd soo many times. He has dealt with adversity so many times. Seperated shoulders, lame points docked, bloody lungs, bike failires in the mud, crappy teams, just missing titles by a few points, his crazy Millville crash, etc etc etc. Seeing him in SD I knew where his mind was. He could smell the top. I was so nervous for him going into tonight. When I saw that he had the fatest lap from practice, I knew he was really feeling it. Hoping he would get his due tonight. Every lap as RC, Emig, and Ralph were commenting on how good he looked. I was screaming at the tv "Don't jinx Him!!!". My family thought I was nuts. Soon as I saw him triple into that section and over all those ruts I though "Man Please be careful Reedy!"..
Don't misunderstand me. This is not a slam on Reedy, the commentators, or anyone at all. Every rider has his ups and downs. But dang I really wanted to see him continue on with his momentum come out on top tonight. I am so bummed for him. I hope he is gonna be ok. I am afraid that we may have seen his best. And this might slow him down from here on out. Again not a slam.

I couldn't watch the race live last night, so I ran out of curse words when I opened my computer this morning. It's very frustrating to be a moto fan when all your favorites get hurt. Get well soon Chad and Trey!!

Awesome, it reminded me of 2003 when he was taking it to RC.
I was so disappointed for him when he fell.

It was going to be an epic race, they were both going at it and had a maga pace going. Looked like it was going to be those two going at it for the title... no any moreSad

I really hope his knee is ok and he races again, but it looked like Chad felt it was bad, he was devestated. I hope that wasn't the last race of his career.

That's probably why this is so depressing. When a younger guy crashes out, its not too bad because we will see him the next year. But that might not be the case. I really hope we haven't witnessed Chad Reeds final sx race as a full time rider

I don't know Reed personally but watching him for all these years we all have gradually come to know his character. If the injury is serious, I don't think Reed would go out like that. He doesn't have that makeup where he just would quit.

Remember how rattled he was after his get off at Millville? That would have caused some people to hang it up right there. He's a tough guy, has the heart of a champion and I believe will come back.

I hope for the best for CR22, but I don't believe he'll be back out there any time soon, if ever. So the most competitive season in recent memory is down to one guy - Villopoto. Reed is likely out; Stewart made too many mistakes early on; Dungey just doesn't have the spped, whether it's the bike or not. The four way battle is a one- man show from here on out. Bummer.

It looked like his footpeg went through the boot. He was kind of stuck to the bike.

Hope MRI today says nothing major.. He could have passed RV but that would have been dumb. Hope he makes it back..

I have never seen those boots up close and personal but it kinda looks like there is some extra crap on the back that could snag a peg or bolt. I don't know what caused his boot to catch but no need for all that fancy shit. Just leave the back and insides smooth so they don't get hooked on something.

It really sucks that the only guy that has been able to hang with RV is now most likely out with an injury.

Hope it's not as serious as it looked. He was definitely going to make a race of it. I'm an RV fan, but it's going to be awfully boring without Reed.

Very bummed for him.
Agree. The motorcycle did an anterior drawer on him once his foot got stuck in it.

Remember, RV dnf'd a race last year about this time...if CR can ride next week he will.
Yes, I saw RVs feet dangling(but that works for him, he does it several times a race without a tick in his armour.) He knows when to panic ......

Exactly. Do some of you not remember, that the guy in FRONT, even if being lapped has the right of way? Its so you dont get landed on. RV had to pass Jeff too. Reed just screwed up. Its racing.

I hope Reed can make a comeback soon. I am loving that guys grit and determination. And, hes a family guy, so that brings him up even more in my books. His moto career story is one of inspiration. That guy has kahones!

That has got to be the dumbest thing I have heard today. Watching practice and the heats. Chad was on it tonight. He uncorked fast laps whenever he wanted. If someone beat his time he would cruise and then uncork a faster time. Super bummed.
Really? You make it sound like he was a second a lap faster or something? I enjoy both of these guys racing, just pointed out what I saw. RV seems to have the best body positioning to avoid mistakes....

And your excuse for last week when Reed caught and passed RV and didn't fall was...... Wait! Lemme guess, lucky break huh?
Perhaps....RV showed NSTANTLY that he can crank it up and he DID. He IMMEDIATELY passed him back......RV runs naturally aspirated 99% of the time but has a nitrous bottle for when he needs it....

I hope Reed can make it back from this. It took him a long time to get his mojo back from the millville incident and this appears to be a worse injury. He was the fastest man on the planet yesterday, had "it" all day! I hope he can get "it" back one more time!
