of performance and handling.
If that wasn’t enough, the bike also comes equipped with new generation plastics, orange powder

Speak up dammit! I'd be willing to bet they even use actual grease on the linkage, swingarm and steering head bearings too. Powdercoated frame.....sweet.

Funny you mention warranty. KTM seems to take care of damn near every issue that comes up while Yamaha told the guy with the cracked frame to go pound sand the other day. Wonder what Kawasaki told the guy in the video with the 2012 KX450F engine explosion??? I'll hold off on any price comments till it hits and we see what's she's got compared to the lesser Japanese brands. But I will say that they are all overpriced in my opinion.

Seems to me, you have the 2012 normal model for the average, I want a comparable price as all the other Jap bikes. Or you can get, really what the 2013 is. This all new model wouldn't even exist, had it not been for Dungey. So the price, to me, is like getting a year early model. JMHO

Going to try to get on in Canada. My dealers pretty awesome, so I hope he can snag me one. Now that Im old and slow, and can afford it, I thought it might be kind of a fun bike to own. Probably a little over priced, etc... but what the heck. Should be a pretty cool unit. Hopefully the suspension settings, etc are close. The 2012 thats already out is looking pretty decent. Looked at the new KX yesterday too..., looks very nice.

I was hoping it would have the Akropovic Exhaust & maybe come with a hand-held tuner. Either way, I'm sure it will look & perform great.

If I was going to spend that kind of money, I'd go to a KTM dealership and have them build up a 250SX with the factory 300 kit, Factory Connection suspension, Windham twinwall bars and Talon wheels. But that's just me.

They can easily put a nice price tag on this bike -

Remember they will probably only bring in 500 of these bikes this year - of which probably 10-12 will be used for the racing dept, testing dept and media/marketing

That is not a lot of bikes spread across the country - if you are lucky maybe dealers might get one bike. Selling one bike for $10K is probably not going to be difficult - I bet customers might even get into a bidding war and the price will go up

This is what I'm banking on. I'm ordering as many as I can get my hands on.

Its actually not that bad of a price.. I mean stock the bike is close to $9k.. If you were to pull apart your bike and powder coat the frame your looking at $400-$500 bucks (unless you do it all yourself), black excels are another couple hundred, orange sprocket $50, seat cover, bars ,sticker kit and whatever else might come on it.It should have an Akrapovic slip on at least but when you add it up its not that bad if you were going to do some bling on a stock one. Being this is built at the factory it will attract those buyers. Definitely wont be something people are breaking the doors down to buy but once I read this earlier told a buddy he called the dealer and has 3 on order depending on how many this dealer gets. One with my name on it but im on the fence because I like the 350 a lot. I wish they had some kind of 350 replica in the US im sorta over 450's but this is going to be one sick bike.

Sooo.....is there an actual picture of this bike? The link Steedmills posted is of the 250 and 350......should we expect the 450 to look just like these bikes?

Never really gave KTM a second thought , but after reading what is involved in that bike.....it's got me curious. Sure would like to see one in person! Screw that!......I'd like to ride one of them bitches!
