Looks easy. Two strokes are so flickable. If I had a 250 instead of a 450, I'd throw whips just like that. Piece of cake.

Made me think two things.
1) damn I love that 2 stroke sound!
2) that boy can still ride a bike
2 ) a lot of people have really short memories.

If he's really that pissed at Yamaha, why the hell shouldn't he race the thing?? He shouldn't feel any huge commitment to them...

James is the only top 5 guy to release a video of himself ripping a 2-stroke within the last year and people still find ways to rip on him lol. Some of you amaze me sometimes. Just enjoy the video and shut the f up about everything else lol.

Pure awesomeness from swap and JS.

BTW - Seems like every time a top pro takes a spin on a smoker they are grinning from ear to ear afterwards. How stupid are the factories for not incorporating that into an ad campaign. All Yami would have to do is show a shot of JS's face before and then another shot after he's ridden a few laps.

Just imagine how fast he would look with double the strokes! Instead of feeling like he was going so fast but going so slow, it would have been the opposite. That was one of the best videos in a long time though. He hasn't forgotten how to manhandle a 2 stroke either

Just like Jeremy said in the video of him riding that clapped out CR250, you can add your own style when you ride a two stroke. James definitely doesn't ride his 450 like that. He threw that two banger around like a toy. Awesome to watch. I hope that DC and crew paid attention to the end of that video. One of the greatest riders in the world has come out and officially said that 250 two strokes are slow. Therefore there is no reason to contest equal displacement rules at the pro level. With how slow he was going, (self admitted) 250 two strokes are obviously no longer competitive against the ultra fast and ultra modern 450's, but still deserve a class to race in. Give the pros a chance to choose, and the fans what they want, and allow 250 two strokes to compete against 250 four strokes at a pro level. It works everywhere else in the world. I thought America was a world leader in everything, cos they are dragging their feet on this one.

Bad ass as it was makes me think he may not have a deal worked out yet and he is not going to be fully prepared again come sx. At some point it has to not be about a big pay day but being in the best position to win and be safe doing it. He was pinning that two smoker tho!

As Mitch Payton predicted.... the technology is only going to get better on the 4 stroke.

The 250F is a hell of a lot closer to a 250T than a 250T is to a 450F.

Would love to see James on 50hp KTM 250SX
