What happened to the long post about gas prices it disappeared?

Our gas had dropped below $4 on Monday and Wednesday but that sure didn’t last long.

Despite what Manny said in the “OriginMX” thread I don’t think the High Fuel Price thread disappeared because of name calling.  I suspect the originator of that poll question thread deleted it because it was making his King look bad.  That is the theory that is mine.

What were the final poll question results of that High Fuel Price thread by the way?

You suspect...despite the name-calling...? You can't help yourself.

But, hey, that's O.K. 🤣

Paying $5.29 in Far Nor-Cal...$2.99 for E85.

Yup, these high gas prices are forcing me to save money. Instead of paying Costco gas price I am now going out of my way to buy E85 at half the price.

Auto loan delinquencies are high because the average transaction amount for a new car is presently $50-$51k. In 2012, it was $30k. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that bigger loans are less affordable.

Not to mention terms go to like 84 or 96 months now and people sign right up with little to no down payment. Upside down immediately and it doesn’t get any better. But wifey needs a new Tahoe to match all the other moms in the school pickup line and daddy needs a new 2500 Duramax to haul a Yeti full of Gatorades to junior’s travel baseball games.

Up in the corner of Washington, I think the cheapest I’ve found is $5.50, it’s like a vacuum cleaner is hooked up to our wallets

Cheap new cars still exist but you’re right people get the 50-80k options becuase “we needed a car” and “this one’s safe” and the crowd favorite, “I’ll keep this one forever it’s worth it”

Lol...in 2021, I finally replaced my 2005 F150 that I'd bought used in 2008 (had frame cancer). I replaced int with a Chevy 3500 Express cargo van that had 226,000 miles on it, and a list of maintenance records as long as your arm. Paid $10k for it (financed it, but it's paid off now). It's got 292,000 on it now, and I drive it every day. I'm also religious with the maintenance. It's my work truck and my daily driver.. Gonna drive it till it's no longer economically justified to keep it. My other car is a Goldwing 😎

Here's an update from the old High Fuel Prices thread.  Shell Station #1 in Kent has not changed its prices in 8 days.

You can still get regular unleaded for just barely under $5 here. Here’s the current lowest prices for Unleaded, Premium, and Diesel here.

You are definitely wrong about that. It was deleted because it turned into something other than the title topic intended,  which was about High Fuel prices. Not name calling, vulgarity and constant cursing. One of the things that’s great about Starting a topic is that you get to moderate it , unlike in the past. I do find it funny that the deletion was about a week ago and no one noticed till now. After it was gone, I noticed that Non Moto seemed to have calmed down. So I think it was a good pull. 💯

We will have riots soon....

Gas prices in my area didn’t move much one way or the other over the last week.

OK, I accept that.  If the thread originator deletes the thread only they know the true reason.

Did you take a screen shot of the final poll results from the deleted thread and can you post those here?

Thanks.

No I didn’t Reese, that thread was approaching 600 posts and right around 20 pages. To be honest I completely forgot about the poll, and hadn’t looked at it for a long time.

I accepted the E15 this morning for the daily commuter, Ford Escape. $4.79 looked better than $4.99. Now King Prickster is going to add his yearly fuel tax increase on July 1st. Like clockwork every summer.

Imagine that. A democrat is going to raise your taxes. Still waiting for someone to explain what is the agenda for democrat party if they win the next election. Communism?

Our Gas prices here vary greatly in different prices from $3.99 - $4.29 and NC is typically about 20 cents higher.

Nice declaration in the face of TDS misrepresentation. They can’t help themselves. Bless their lil’ hearts. 👍🏼😎🇺🇸

Oh, and, I’m pretty sure it’s gonna happen to them, again…’cause, they’re goin’ Full TDS in other corners of this place and we gotta give’em just enough rope…🤣

Anyways…

Today, using my gas-hack: $4.36/gal in a market where sub $6 gas is a good pull.

The good ol days. Back then I never really paid much attention to what any particular station was charging for a gallon. Ya just pulled in and filled up. Usually just a half tank though.
