Any update on J Marts status? Saw he shared an IG story saying how good it was to see Marchbanks on green so quickly.
Is he on the outer completely at Club? Couldn’t imagine him posting this if they were all good, maybe a retirement announcement imminent?

based on wht I gather & heard seems like hes retiring forreal , selfishly as a fan / viewer I wish we got to see a prime jmart run on the 450s outdoors but if hes indeed retiring then good on him , he put his body thru enuff torture

Is J Mart throwing shade at Marchbanks for ditching club mid-season or is he genuinely happy for him? That was a weird post. As far as J Mart, A Mart came on Pulp maybe a month ago and said he needed to take four months off due to his last concussion. Guy can't catch a break these last 3 years.
I heard jmart plans on retiring.
If he retires, that means he will have 2 outdoor titles and (I believe) a total of 4 SX/MX races on a 450.
Is there anybody else who comes to close to that kind of ratio?
Or, put another way, he'll have earned something like ~3,600 250 SX/MX points in his career and 58 450 SX/MX points.
Dude is retired from MX, just not officially. He's all about mountain biking these days.

Sorry, it's just "I heard" is a pet peeve of mine when it was put out there in the media for everyone to hear. Saying "I heard" makes it look like you have some sorta inside info, just give credit where it's due and say "I heard on Pulp"

I like to say rumors are or something like that. But normally it’s I hear which you don’t like.
Just say where you heard it instead of trying to look important.
That is also helpful for others who did not hear it because they can go to the source and learn more themselves.

I think Pastrana would be the closest but even he got roughly 1/2 a big bike season in SX.
Outdoors I think Pastrana only lined up for 3 big bike nationals. 4 if you count southwick 06

Alex say in an interview that the 450, at his(Alex's) size was just too much bike. I imagine he told his brother this.
Marchbanks didn't ditch Club, they ditched him...he was blindsided..
That's a good one. Definitely not the same ratio as J. Martin, but still a guy who was really good on the small bikes, but never even tried much on the bigger bikes. (Pastrana had 21 "450" SX races.)
Ya I don’t think anyone comes close to Jmarts ratio. Shoot, there are only a handful of 2x 250 national champs
