With everyone complaining on here about Ricky's announcing every single week. Made me think, what would ya'll think about Jett stepping in the booth for the rest of outdoors? He doesn't need to replace anyone, just join in.

I'm not sure. According to Racer X's injury report last week, he's still out because of the concussion, but he's run a half marathon (or maybe it was a full) and ridden his road bike recently.
I forget where I heard this but on a podcast or video I heard he's considering or going to retire.
No thanks... He's a great rider but he's not the sharpest tool in the shed when it comes to these things IMO.... If it was Hunter that would be different he can actually string 2 words together lol

Wasn't he in he booth for a 250 main in SX last year when he was hurt or something? I don't think he would be bad at all. But with James and AC there is already some banger options. Maybe Jmart again for Spring Creek as Sully said?

I've stayed out of all the Jett threads for quite some time now.... That is, until the recent injury and him missing the rest of outdoors. I've posted in 3 of them because they were actual worthwhile threads. Make it 4 threads I've posted in if you include this one now....it was a good candidate for a dig. No offense to the OP.
So...please....do a search of the Jett threads in the last couple months and see how often I've posted in them.
I'll wait for the results of your search.
But as always....my digs (as in this thread) ain't about Jett....it's about the fan bois and the media overload.

No, because he's not the most eloquent speaker. However, I think he would pretty sharp at identifying some of the little things like line choice, technique, setup etc
Maybe start with RDL.
I'd assume Jett is busy preparing for his return to racing and helping Hunter/HRC. If this injury had him out until A1, maybe.
But hypothetically, after watching Redbud, I'd take him over RC in the booth right now.
