Remember feeling like he came out of virtually nowhere to take the 250 title just a couple years ago but now there’s nothing on him. Anybody know what he’s doing/planning on doing?

250 SX is literally a regional title. There's nothing to argue there. Whether it counts the same as the other AMA titles? Racing half the field, with half the races. Pretty self exclamatory there

Piccolo bike in 2023. When he switched from KTM to Honda. He crashed in start first heat, and broke a few bones. End of season.
Sad he didn’t actually line up for many races for GDR, I thought that would be a great bike for him
After also speaking with the family, we’ve learned that Jake has not been implicated or charged in any of the illegal activities that took place out in British Columbia earlier in the month. [Details on that part of the story will be forthcoming.]

Yes former Canadian 250 champ at 17. Trained a couple of years at one of the facilities down south. Incredible talent. He was with another young pro kid at a local gym in British Columbia and I guess the other kid pinched a wallet and they took off in Jake's truck. cops got them at the local gas station. That's what I heard. Why he's never been back to the truck I have no clue but it's a damn shame because he had the type of talent that could've translated to Supercross in a heartbeat.
