Charles Dao posted a video of him doing some flexibility exercises in the gym the other day. Austin and his teammates are some of the toughest and most hungry guys in the sport. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if he races the next east coast round.

I think outdoors is more likely and the safer option. But never know

Back in the day, a buddy took a trip to Endo-nesia and broke his collarbone. After we guided him off the track and got him in for X-rays, the tech confirmed the break, then asked him "Did you know you'd broken your neck?" That injury had long since healed.

Turns out he'd broken two spinal processes in high school wrestling. He told them that it had hurt for awhile, but he hadn't let it bother him.

And he was back racing two weeks after breaking his collarbone, without benefit of surgery.

Considering he has decided to stay with it I would expect him to be back on the bike this week.

Exercising the brain could be a good idea too, every once in a while. Dry

Just to be clear, he crashed February 24 and if saying his goal was to come back April 20, so about 8 weeks from injury to his return.

I’d guess his goal is back on the bike at 6 weeks and 2 weeks of practice.

Sideswipe at DB?

Go Forkner.
And be careful, one of these days you're going to get hurt.

Forkner is clearly built different. Physically and mentally. Dude is tough as nails to keep returning after what his body has been through, and slightly mental to keep doing it. But I will be cheering him on. I was so happy to see him riding well before that crash. After it would be even better.

When he wins tgey will have that video ready to replay just like they did with Kenny.

I have said it before but he is the only rider that has what it takes to beat Jett head to head IMO. Both Phenoms, hope he gets a chance.

Football players do that to win penalties against the other side.  Especially when they're in striking distance of the goal. It's not because they're 'soccer floppers'.

Bizarre take, with no evidence to back it up.

Being "tougher than nails" and making a smart decision for your future are two different things.

Doug Henry came back from worse, and won a championship, you can only wish Mr. Forkner the best.

On kids and young adults, bones heal in 6 weeks. Often times faster if you follow a healthy diet.  I’m sure he is in good hands and on protocol.

They flop around on the ground pretending to have an injury so they can gain an advantage on the other team....That sounds about right.  I'll agree with that!

However; I contend they don't do that because they are soccer floppers, but rather that is why I refer to them as soccer floppers.

As for Buttery Waffles....You are implying that Austin is stupid for returning so quickly.  How long do you think he should wait?  What do you think of Cody Schock returning 1 week after a fractured clavicle?....Pretty stupid, eh?

I thought soccer players were the most physically fit athletes, right in front of MXers. I’ve actually seen them get up and start playing again after getting soo hurt as to have to flop on the ground like a mackerel. Sometimes they even do it without getting cleared with a concussion protocall

EDIT and I’ll never doubt a MXer or SXer after what Wackers just did in Bama
