Or, if you drove your parents car to high-school, what was it - what did you drive ?
*BONUS round, were you in the 8-Track, Cassette, CD or IPOD/ MP3 vehicle/ musical collaboration ?
Me ? My 1975 Kawasaki KS-125 and my dad's '67 Plymouth Fury (318) and '69 Rover TC 2000 (an odd car for even Massachusetts !)
* 8-track then cassettes for me.

Definitely 8-track. Pioneer Super-Tuner. Remember those? With Jensen co-axials. YES!
Traded in for 1974 Ford Econoline (Blue with blue vinyl!) to haul my YZ250 around in. First of MANY Ford vehicles.
74 Ford Courier.
No stereo of any kind but If I could have afforded one it would have been cassette.
I had my driver’s license for about a week. Doing about 50 mph down a dark country road one night and didn’t realize the road had a 90 degree right turn, drove straight off the road without even attempting to turn, cleared a 5 foot wide drainage ditch and ended up in a farmer’s field, didn’t really hurt the truck much, found my way out of the field and drove home. Damn near gave myself a heart attack that night.

I had an 8-track AND cassette because I was a badass!
When I went away to college I couldn't have a car on campus the first 2 years, but when I did, it was the old 1972 Olds 98 LS. That was bad! Both Olds had 455 cid V8's, but the 1972 had no smog controls. It ripped, despite being in a giant car.
Like this one, but it was dark jade green with white vinyl top. I installed a Pioneer Supertuner am/fm/cassette in it.
Had that one about a year and it puked a radiator and more. Plus we had a gas crisis and 14.7 mpg highway wasn't cutting it. So I got a brand new 1978 Ford Fiesta S. Yellow like this.
My Dad bought it for me when I was 15, we rebuilt the 283 and painted it competition orange.
Cant beat the novelty of a your first 5 speed with no power steering. Sadly my little guys wont get to experience the feeling, but they will get put on the tallest hill in neutral with me halfway up! Best thing I ever learned was stick shift, I could drive (and that was the point) anything, everything, especially when friends were drinking.
