He was so high in the air. Unbelievable....

EPIC. I think it's so gnarly that he lines those up and hits them on one try.

It took him about 5 tries in practice to go for, I got all of them on video.

I noticed on speed he clipped a few tuff blocks, as well.

It was pretty much "WTF" big on TV. The Kdub transfer was quite the way to get the night started. Thanks for this other angle.

Great pic as always, but I have to say that the Ddavis pic is pretty sweet, as well.

It kind of looks fake. The headline might be "Windam jumps the whole track!"

Yep. They played it down a bit, though. Pretty sure I said "holy fucking shit."

I think he crossed four lanes. You could say he jumped the whole track.

Kdub knows magic, sort of like how he pulled off the quad in the main that Stewart was sketchily doing.

Most of the time he only jumps two or three lanes, but in most of the opening ceremonies it's so dark he can't see where he's landing at all and he can only barely see the takeoff. He hits stuff in pitch dark that 99.9999% of riders wouldn't even consider do-able in broad daylight.

At least he could see in Vegas.

Just look at some of the old video tapes of Windham and McGrath free riding together and you can see how he pulls this shit off, watching those guys free ride/jumping is way better then some FMX contest.

When I saw it I was expecting him to land way earlier, like 2 lanes earlier... and he just kept going. Will be a sad day when these 90s/early00's legends are all AWOL!

Windham was the rider of the night for me. Was so disappointed for him when Stewart went down and left him nowhere to go. To just start doing that quad section in the main behind Stewart shows just what an amazing talent he is. Was great to see him believe in himself again and lay it all on the line... he has as much talent as anyone out there. Would have been awesome to see him take that win.

I think it would have been a different race if Stewie went down and didnt collect K-dub with him,I dont know if he could of kept that pace for the whole race, but I do believe he had a serious chance to win last night. When he started latching on to James every move,James started making mistakes.

I like in the interview he said he was just going to try and use James bike as another whoop,it just didnt work out that way.
They said after the crash the medic crew had to separate them,it was very classy of K-dub not to bash him during his interview.

I have an old Travis Pastrana VHS tape from 01' or 02' that shows some footage of him and Windham at the Suzuki test and KW was doing those transfer dealios even way back then. In the video, Pastrana is watching and says something to the effect of "How does he do that?". Pretty impressive when you can out-jump Pastrana....

I was worried about injury when the tough block snagged his foot off the peg.
Those things are NOT fluffy little marshmallows!

I was so impressed with KW last night, especially during the main.

TP will have plenty to say about the riding abilities of KW and RR.

I wish I could find a video high light of that jump again. DV's is hard to see , but the one they showed on TV last night.....made my jaw touch my knee caps. It was just completely unreal!
