Good for Jake. Hopefully something low key like this will work out for him.

Good for Jake glad he got a ride. What's a deal like this generally worth for a rider of Jake's caliber?

I saw that TEAM TEDDER was looking for a road mechanic and a shop mechanic too., I guess that explains why.

This seems like a perfect setup for all parties involved.

Good for jake, sometimes he comes across a little different in his interviews.... Sort of ambivalent... But I have always pulled for him to do well. I hope he pulls himself up by his boot straps and puts in the work and makes this work for him like Davi did and if he gets solid results he might find himself back on a factory bike!

Your right. He comes across like the sport owes him a living. He always sounds so bummed out and over it. If he doesn't do well, I think this will be his last year of racing. He needs some advice on how to speak to the media and not sound so whiny.

He won the best east west race ever at vegas when all four pro circuit riders went at it for most of the race.

yeah that was a great race lostboy, hell it was a great season, but that was a long time ago and a lot of water has passed under the bridge

I hope he works it out, being on a smaller team might be just what he needs, or maybe he is at peak right now and we wont see him going faster.

Agreed, when I think of Weimer I think of that race.

Hope he has a solid year.

Give the Tedder group some credit. These guys aren't out there trying to promote underground electric or anything. They get a few bucks from Monster, a little Kawi support and several small sponsorship's that keep the team plugging away. Matt is running the show over at the UE side of the shop and I hear Myles has opted to follow his dads steps. This is just a good family that continues to enjoy the sport and, If they can help a guy like Jake out, great! I believe Tedesco came close to the same deal a year or two ago as well. I wouldn't call these PC Kawi's a major set back for Jake.

These guys can't win, if they say nothing they're robots, if they speak up they're whinny, Jake isn't whinny, he even says that he sucked and understands and is willing to flip his own coin to go racing. Give him and the guys that speak up more credit especially with how secretive this sport is.

No, the PC Kawies aren't factory bikes...but (and I don't mean this to be a slam on Jake) after his lackluster results, they are a hell of a lot better than riding for Team Wallet and pitting out of a truck bed. Jake is talented, and if he gets the breaks I think he can top-10 at any race, indoor or out. Hope the Team Tedder deal works for him. Heck...he might work his way back into a factory ride if he does well.
