Who's got what? What do you think of it? Recommendations. I've got and older fox airline vented jersey that I like but its getting beat up. The pants didn't survive the crash. lol

Thanks for all you suggestions.

The new Fox Airline stuff is super lightweight but doesn’t actually seem as vented to me as the older stuff did.

Thats what Im wondering about. The back of the airline looks really vented. My old airline actually allows me to get a suntan through it. Smells real bad though. Even after washing. lol

Here is my fairly biased opinion. I recently got my new Sahara samples and holy crap the pants are vented. I’ve worn several sets in the past but the new stuff for this year is next level. The jersey is new too and feels more durable but still crazy vented. The older stuff I seemed to always tear the jersey but I think the 20 stuff will hold up better. I really don’t think anyone offers a more ventilated kit that I’ve ever seen.

I personally mostly wear the Thor Prime Pro gear most of the time. The jersey vents a ton and is very stretchy and comfortable. The pants are pretty well vented but crazy comfortable. The whole kit is really durable too. The knees are full grain leather with a stretch Kevlar lining on the inside. The knees on my 19 stuff I wore all year barely look worn after a season of off road riding.

i've had numerous sets of fox airline over the years. the current gen stuff, i love it. it has fewer cut outs that some past years, but honestly, this stuff is so thing/wickable it feels be best of any gear i've ever worn. i haven't compared to other brands current year model vented gear however.

Fly lite hydrogen is quite breathable, seems a little more vented than fox flexair

Thor Pulse Air Acid. 100€ here in italy, greatly vented and it is lasting me more than i expected (it survived a couple crashes). I bought this color and it’s awesome.

Another vote for Moose Sahara. Especially the pants are really really good.
I have a couple of sets of TLD SE Air, and they are fine as well, but for really hot races I prefer Moose

I've got the fox white/navy airline that was released in 18' The last set of vented I had prior was 05 shift and its crazy how much vented gear has progressed. The airline is extremely light weight, when you are standing the airflow for the paints is definitely noticeable through the knee ducts.

I run the Fasthouse air cooled jersey with the Grindhouse pants. I've been very pleased with this set up down here in the Georgia heat and humidity.

Moose Sahara has a great mesh that allows a ton of air. Gear might look ugly or whatever but who cares.....it's great.

FXR Revo or Helium Air.
O'Neal mesh gear that I wore in the past was great as well.

Re-up on the Airline gear. It's been consistently 90 degrees with 100% humidity here in the mid-atlantic and it's all I've been wearing. Lightweight and durable enough. Plus, the 2019 kits should be on sale right now since the 2020 line just dropped.

Spent some time in Baja last week. I was pleasantly surprised by how cool the TLD SE Air gear kept me.
I've worn the Air glove for years. They're a great glove for air flow and protection. They, too, were comfortable in the hotter areas of Baja.

The cactus got me a coupl'a times. I was bleeding in a few spots on my arms; yet, there weren't any tears in my jerseys.

I’ve tried most gear on the market, fly, seven, Troy lee, fast house, O’Neal, alias, Thor, and I have to say FLY the cake for gear quality. ive never tried anything else that is the fit and quality like the lite Hydrogen stuff. It’s crazy breathable also!

The fox 360 jersey is very vented. The airline stuff is even more vented and has held up well. I have like 15 rides on one set and it looks new. The shift 3lue label stuff is the lightest gear I’ve ever had and vents like the airline.

I 2nd all of this. The only problem that I have with the 3lue Label gear is the pricing. $315+ for a jersey and pants Blush

I will second the Moose gear. I rode a two day dual sport this past weekend. About 85 degrees and humid both days. The Moose Sahara gear was noticeably cooler than the Thor gear i rode on the previous day.

The best gear doesn't exist anymore ... it's all sublimation junk that doesn't like the washing machine really... and if you use knee braces and chest protector it doesn't matter if the jersey is soft or quicke dry etc. you wel not notis the differance. entry level pants last the longest they use thicker nylon... however, 4 way strech works great with knee braces but, its prone. Back on topic most of the jerseys you see on TV are aftermarket sublimation printed the look the same as the original only with holes etc. https://www.wlm-design.nl/en/product-info-shirts 👇 sublimation copy

There is a lot of bad info in this post haha. They are building one-off jerseys in a ventilated version because these guys need it for MXGP. Everyone usually does this to help their Pro riders stay cool while also enabling a way to market each graphic. Customers don't always want full mesh ventilation in a production piece, though. It's just a method to showcase all of the lines and also make sure riders are maximizing air flow.

On the "entry level pants last the longest, they use thicker nylon", that's absolutely not true. Entry level almost ALWAYS uses the lowest denier (400-600 typically). Higher end products use 900D or a hex build to add even more durability.
