Seems like he's had a lot of problems with that husky recently, maybe he should of stuck with the Yamaha? Sacrifice a little power for reliability. Just my two cents. Either way I give him credit for riding a one two five!

Micropolished trans bro, nothing to do with husky. Looks cool but can screw up a trans in heartbeat. Distorted gears and tolerances out of spec if taken too far.

The Husky gearbox issues illustrate a big reason manufacturers of two stroke MX bikes need to back teams with professional riders racing their bikes in competition. It helps further the development and durability of the bikes they're selling to the public. I know I'd feel better knowing the bike I'm buying has been proven in the proMX racing series. Many don't seem to get this. Look at how far the four strokes have been developed and improved through proMX racing. Doubtful we'd have seen this rapid of advancement with out it.

Of course no manufacturer will do this with the lopsided displacement rules in effect currently. No factory backed team wants to campaign a bike with such an obvious disadvantage.

Hey what's up y'all just wanna give a little bit of info on how our weekend went. Unadilla was probably our The roughest round yet for this summer! Gareds mechanic Eric decided to race the Amateur track this weekend and crashed pretty bad Friday, breaking his tib/fib & a bone in his arm. Eric had surgery yesterday morning and looks like everything went well! He's just in some pain but he'll recover fully from this. As for stank dog, Unadilla wasn't the best. Took a little digger on Thursday for press day but he was fine and then we had some bike issues in the 250 Consolation race on race day. Gared ended up 41st in qualifying, running lap times about a second and a half off from the pack. First lap of the LCQ Gared was riding about 12th place making his way up until he got pushed wide into a puddle of water on the track on the second lap causing water to go into his carburetor. It sucks but sh!t happens! We're gonna try and get Eric out of the hospital by tomorrow morning and then cruise down to New Jersey to ride near my house to get ready for Budds! Thanks for all the 2 Stankin support, couldn't do it without the fans!

I was back in the pits when he came back and I overheard him saying what it was. For fear of me misleading and saying something wrong I'll just say I'm pretty positive it wasn't transmission.

What everyone could see as he pulled the track was him revving the bike out a lot. That also doesn't point to transmission.

I will say, even when the cameras weren't there, the guy was really nice to the pile of fans waiting for him when he came back. Even while he was pulling stuff off of the bike to figure it out.

A bunch of us were there for a bachelor party and we were all big fans and bought 2 stankin tees for the race. He took pics and chatted right after and just seemed like a really positive guy.

I feel like a lot of the results (good) he gets have to be attributed to that outlook.

This is why you don't post unless you know what happened. Haeseker Racing builds his engines and is one of the best in the business. This gives bad press to Haeseker when he didn't have any involvement in what happened. Please don't post unless you know what you're talking about.

KTM/ Husky transmissions for all big bikes are brutal when ridden by a national caliber rider. It's not if it's when. Hope they figure it out soon.

I'm sure there's a good reason (like Husky would rather you buy and spend money on the more expensive option) but it seems strange to me that this bike exists but it's not given to a guy getting a tonne of exposure

Local Husky dealer here is having lots of problems with the Husky's. At least it keeps their mechanic busy. He is saying all models have their issues. He went to the Husky mechanics school at KTM headquarters and said everything was KTM orange every where except the Husky classroom was painted white and had a Husky banner hung on the wall. Stank should have stayed with the Yamaha.
